Next three matches are what will shape Baggers.
Hawks, Suns (in GC) and Port.
Hawks and Suns are teams they should be winning now.
Slip ups there, the wheels may wobble a bit.
But plenty to like so far.

Carlton beat Hawthorn by a point 74 to 73. They blew a commanding lead, but still though they got over the line. Three wins from three now for the Blues, the second time that's happened since 1995.

Highlights for round 3.

Bombers lose again LOL.

A bad defeat this was for the Roos. North Melbourne are in for another long season i think.

They nearly blew it, but still four points is four points. Carlton showed a lot of character i think, to hold out for that win.

Right we're done. The Blues are still undefeated. So far so good!

Hmm back to reality for Carlton against the Gold Coast Suns! The key thing now though is to bounce back with a win, against an out of form Port Adelaide side.

Carlton nearly blew it against a poor Port Adelaide team, but four points is four points though.

Overall it's been a good start to the season, but the fade outs and blowing of commanding leads, is a bit concerning i have to admit.

@Gwladys St. Glory I'm going to steal your idea for this thread, so i'll just apologise in advance!

I think similar to the NHL thread, i encourage anyone to post a picture of an afl player from the past and it's up to us to work out who he is.

Fremantle Dockers 97 Carlton 62. The wheels are starting to come off the wagon a bit. North Melbourne Adelaide Crows and GWS Giants, are the Blues next three fixtures.

The Crows have just had a good win over the Western Bulldogs so they'll be tricky customers, and GWS Giants are struggling at the moment.

While it would be easy to fall into the trap of thinking North Melbourne are easy beats, they did beat Carlton by 40 points last season!

I don't think the wheels are falling off.
New coach, new back room, new system.

Be interesting how Voss reacts and whether he swings the axe to quite a few under performers Sat night.

Losing Pittonet early doors [Poor language removed] us hard as well.

We owe the Roos a beating after last year. It's a team good enough to finish, in the lower half of the top eight anyway. The Dockers seem to have a good side coming together as well.

Collingwood won the Anzac day game by 93 points to Essendons 82 points. The Bombers 150th anniversary celebration, seems to be turning into a wake.lol
