Collingwood got their first major reality check this year, with the Western Bulldogs beating them by nearly fifty points. The Pies problems are that they lack a key forward, and are very weak in midfield.

Things could possibly get way worse for the Pies before they get better, but i expect them to back playing finals footy within the next three to four years.

The Gold Coast Suns beating Fremantle Dockers was a surprise result i have to say. Good win for St Kilda against Geelong as well.

Carlton 102 Sydney Swans 87, some people were saying that Carlton were yet to beat a team inside the top eight, but they've now just gone and done that.

The old enemies Collingwood and Essendon are up next! North Melbourne played well against the reigning premiers Melbourne, they eventually ran out of gas and lost by 47 points.

Melbourne Demons 100 North Melbourne 53 the final score, but North can take a lot of positives from that game.

Collingwood 80 Fremantle Dockers 44, a 36 point win for the Pies and i thought the Dockers were certainties to win that game!

After Carltons great win over the Sydney Swans, it's all set up for an interesting Carlton v Collingwood game next Sunday.

I'm a bit nervous about this game to be honest, it's Carlton v Collingwood ffs! The pies really would love to burst our bubble.

Hopefully we have a great game, and of course a Carlton win. I might watch that 1979 grand final later, or maybe 1981 or 1970.:D

Blues go down to the Pies by 79 to 75. Collingwood were the much better team overall though.

We were missing Harry McKay and Jacob Weitering went off injured, but overall it was a very poor Carlton performance against the old enemy.

The two things i take from this game, is that while Carlton may play finals footy, they aren't premiership contenders just yet.

The other thing is that Collingwood are doing pretty well for a team, that people thought might struggle this year. I think as of now, i'd say they are in with a chance of playing finals footy.

Carlton have a bye next week, and then it's Essendon on June 10th. Surely and hopefully we'll get the wagon back on the road against the Bombers!

The Pies now lead the head to head record as well. Oh well at least the reds lost the Champions League final! So at least something went right!lol

That was pure slop.
Worst performance so far this year against the Pies of all teams! It's a good thing we have the bye next week, considering the players we have out injured.

Injuries or no injuries though, Collingwood did do a number on us tactically, and probably should have been even more convincing winners.

Well my weekend was pretty good. :)

The Demons lost against the Dockers last week, and they lost again this week against the Sydney Swans by 73 to 61. Are chinks starting to appear in the Demons armour?

Collingwood win again against Hawthorn. They had a bad beating against the Western Bulldogs, but they've responded with three straight wins since then.
