I'll do a non Carlton player as well.

Pants.

As poor a team as North Melbourne are, it was still satisfying to see Carlton crush a side. The Blues won by 114 to Norths 64. Jack Carroll had a great game on his debut.

Look like it's between the Roos and the West Coast Eagles for the wooden spoon. Essendon at the moment are contenders for it as well, but i think the Bombers will click into some sort of form at some stage.

Fremantle Dockers 102 North Melbourne 24, my god the Roos are in serious trouble. I'd say it will be another wooden spoon for them this year.

Carlton 116 Adelaide Crows 68, a 48 point win there although i'm disappointed that it wasn't over the 50 points!

That's another big win for Carlton, after last weeks win over North Melbourne.

It's been a good start to the season so far, they should be well in contention for one of the lower positions in the top eight at least.

With regards to the two defeats they've had so far, the Gold Coast Suns have always been bit of a bogey side, and Fremantle have been a very good team so far this year.

It's nice to see Charlie Curnow in such great form, after all his injury problems. If teams focus on doubling up on Charlie, then it leaves Harry McKay free to do the damage and vice versa.

Patrick Cripps is playing like a man possessed so far this year as well. There's a lot to like about Carlton so far, but the fixtures are going to get a lot tougher over the next few weeks.
