Pies win by a point 75 to Carltons 74. Carlton blew it really blew it, and there's no finals footy despite being in the top eight all year!

Carlton keeping their best players fit will be crucial next year, but the players need to work on the whole mental aspect of things as well.

Good luck to Collingwood in the finals i suppose, but i can't exactly wish them too much luck either like! Oh god it will take a fair while to get over this disappointment!

Sorry mate but we seem to be masters of the close ones this season. Although I have taken quite the delight at knocking Carlton out of the finals race by a 1 point win on the final day of the season.

Oh indeed of course you would. I might watch the replay of the game, if i ever eventually pluck up the dutch courage!lol

I'm delighted to see that Richmond have been sent packing though. Hopefully the Tigers go back to being crap again.:D

Great game that one. Charlie Cameron did well. Always had a soft spot for the Lions after that wonderful team under Leigh Matthews. Still fuming over Carlton's last minute defeat to the toothless simpletons though ?
I think we have made a lot of progress this year, but missing the finals in the manner that we did was devastating.

The defeat to the Adelaide Crows was the real killer though. The players took them for granted and paid a heavy price for it.

The amount of injuries we suffered this year was unreal as well. So hopefully Carlton will have better luck in that department in 2023.

Sydney Swans beat the Melbourne Demons by 91 points to Melbournes 69 points. Geelong beat Collingwood by 78 to 72 in the other qualifying final.

As both Melbourne and Collingwood finished in the top four both get a second chance. Melbourne will be playing the Brisbane Lions, and Collingwood will be playing the Fremantle Dockers. Both those games will be at the MCG as well.

The Western Bulldogs are out though after losing to the Dockers by 73 to 60. The Demons or the Lions will be playing the Cats in the preliminary final.

The Pies or the Dockers will be playing the Swans in the other prelimary final. I'd like to see either the Dockers or the Lions go all the way now.

Melbourne Demons 79 Brisbane Lions 92 great win for the Lions. The Demons premiership defence is over.

As i already said i'd love to see either the Lions or the Dockers go all the way now. Although i do think the Pies will beat the Dockers.
