....I suspect they have told Root how many overs he's got to make his double ton before a declaration. They should be swinging at everything at this stage.

they wouldn't have. it's a team game - no time for sentiment. anyway, still 2 days left when we bowled them all out in under a day when the pitch was easier to bat on. Would have also done the same in the first test if agar was rightfully given out.
 
rodgers the biggest wicket here out of the two, we know watson will give it away eventually, rodgers is more wiser and will tresure his wicket. watson should be a test no. 6, but then most of their team seems to fail at opening now
 
OK, we're about to see how good this Australian side really is.

If they cannot at least make a respectable score here, then I think the whitewash really could be on.
