The Ashes 2013 Thread

there goes the 400 run win - shame. aussies best batsmen are definitely batting at 9,10 and 11 as proved by their stats. england need to sort their problem of bowling at the tail though, how many times do they lose momentum when it comes to the last 2 wickets? could have been a different story if root hadn't have shelled that dolly though

all 4 bowlers have reached double figures. only 3 of the 7 batsmen achieved it.

why don't they drop some of the batsmen, play their current bowlers as batsmen (pattinson and agar have done pretty much sweet FA with the ball) and bring a couple of genuine bowlers in?

cook got lucky there, nobody would have been arsed to turn up yesterday and then many people would have murmured why he continued to bat today and last night (extra overs). i like to think the umpire would have given that out anyway even if it wasn't out.

Cant believe that this is the first time we have won the first two Ashes matches in England since 1880 something. Blimey!

It's difficult to be too impressed by england give the opposition, like.

they've batted pretty poorly for well over a year now i believe, too much one-day cricket, especially with regards to cook and trott who seem to throw their wicket away nowadays rather than getting out before. maybe i just have high standards from ashes 2011.

at least the aussie bowlers put up some fight unlike that terrible batting line-up.

Nothing but a whitewash and follow-on after follow-on please.

These next three tests are going to be sweet.
