to be fair to bresnan we would have lost that last test if it wasn't for his performance on the last day.

also Warne probably didn't like the fact cook told the press he couldn't care less what Warne had to say.

Aye he helped, I think Bell and Broad did more to win it like. Tremlett/Onions/Finn offer so much more.

Warney's right of course, but it's a bit rich him coming out and having a go at England when he should be looking at the state of his own country the last few years. He also helped out the Aussie spin bowlers the last two tests, perhaps he should focus more on that.

I agree that really Bresnan wouldnt be in my starting 11 in front of Tremlett or Onions but since he came into the side in at Lords he has taken more wickets than Anderson so it seems a little unfair the stick he gets. I'm not suggesting for a second he is a better bowler than Anderson but he does pick up wickets and vital ones.

As for Cooks captaincy I agree its too negative but I think Warne was more vocal due to Cook totally ignoring the "arrogant and smug" claims of Warne. I think in general England have been too negative but then South Africa and Pakistan series aside you cant really knock the results.
