****ing hideous shot though. england have got out to some absolute rank shots, i reckon aussies have only actually got about 10% of the wickets in this series, most have been gifts

how pathetic was that? 2 runs off the last 7 overs, these are test internationals who are **** scared of any kind of end of session.

You look at it, 98 overs played, only 4 wckts down and you're thinking, yeah good position, aus scored 304 on the first day in 8 overs less, we started on 32-0, must be up at around 350-360 odd, right?

nope, 247, we've only got half way to their ****ing total, 217 runs in a 98 over day on a pitch where steven smith and shane watson (prolific test centurions) got very big hundreds.

2nd best test team in the world yet we play every game not to lose to start with.

think clarke will go for a wild declaration for day 5 giving us a gettable target trying to force a victory and will probably backfire and we'll get lucky again.

hope 3/4-0 doesn't paper over the many cracks of this dire batting line-up, you can't pick them all if none of them are fluid or on form, some useless shots they've got out to after wasting an hour of play by not even looking for runs. just invites pressure, they surely can see this???

England 66/1 TJ !

really? jeez. i've heard the weather's terrible for tomorrow. any play lost from now until then and they're out of the running.

what would be funny if the whole of tomorrow got washed out so england and aus decided that eng should declare and aus forfeit their innings to set england 246 to win with the whole final day. Clarke then turns around and says, you only scored 214 in 98 overs, i fancy my chances of you not chasing 246 in 90

That was Hansie Cronje wasn't it ?
Bent as you like that game turned out in court..

For one moment then I thought everyone was being critical of England while they're cruising 3-0 in an Ashes series....something not many of us would of ever seen before.

England aren't going to win the test match so they've made sure they haven't lost it. Anyone who calls the Aussies bowlers average needs to actually watch the test.

£90 a ticket for The Oval today..

Hard to argue with that. I'm talking from a standpoint of just switching on when I got in from work to be fair and hoping we won't lose.

Mate.. I agree, don't get me wrong. They were booed the other day, came out after lunch and had everyone on the boundary.. I know its a test.. but no-one can be ar*ed watching that.. and its the pricing I have a big issue with this summer.

90 quid is absolutely ridiculous mate. The thing with going the cricket is it's always a gamble anyway no matter paying such a stupid amount. What day should you go...will it be pissing down...will it be a dead rubber after a couple of days...so I would begrudge paying anything over 35 quid for the privilidge. Suppose it's the Ashes though so they can rip people off.

There was a rain delay in an Ashes ( I think ) test at Old Trafford last series.. No refunds if 18 overs were bowled. The came out after tea, bowled exactly 18 overs and went off.
Scenes, dosent describe it. That has been changed since..
I realise how a test can change in an hour, that's the attraction.. But this isn't good to watch right now, and these tactics are effecting the England team more than the Aussies.
