Initially thought it was out (and I think there's probably hundreds of similar scenarios out there where where the dismissal hasn't correctly been overturned) . But if his hand was facing up it could have easily bobbled out of his hand when he hit the floor. He wasn't fully in control at the point he hit the deck.
