I don’t think Boland has been that poor. England batters have made it difficult for him to get consistent line and length. He’s just not a strike bowler which is what has been required in the games so far.

He's been targeted for certain, hard to keep going back to a bowler of his style if they are getting whacked.

That's also an example of how England's style works as well. You could see during the run chase that Cummins would barely dare go to Murphy knowing England could smash 20 off him.

I know they’ll probably stick with Moeen for spin, but I think Root is as good as him and he bowls a bit quicker, which I like.

Looking at the short to medium term weather forecast, think both the mens & womens Ashes are going to be bandjacks by the rain gods …. Meaning Australia will retain both.

Chappell got legged round the carpark by Beefy and he's still fuming over it, fella needs to seriously grow up. You can tell he's still scared of him, won't make eye contact.
