The Villa game was an abomination from all 10 outfielders, regardless of back 4

Garner needs to be in both, but most of all he needs to be there handing us shape and discipline and aggression at RB until Coleman's return.

Onana is still the most creative force we have in MF, even half firing.

I don’t know which games i’ve missed, but my perception is that Onana creates virtually nothing! Garner probably is our best right back, but I think he’s also our best central midfielder. We have scored 0 goals, and seem to always try and create from wide. We are crying out for a little control, or even craft, in the centre of the pitch, and we need to give Garner a chance there imo. Just having Branthwaite play all the time, instead of Keane, will make our defence a lot stronger.

I honestly think Rockford would have his rear end torn inside out most weeks if he were to play RB against Premier League opposition on a regular basis. He might do okay for us filling in on the odd occasion when needs be, but I think a better solution would be for Sean Dyche to at least try and use both our current fullbacks properly. Just my opinion of course, but what do I know about football? Nothing, that's what.

I dont see it with Garner and CM. Looks like his manager think that too...Carsley and Dyche.

Current Garner might be well suited to playing right back but making an extra man in midfield a bit like Arsenal are doing.

Depends how much you prioritise getting Patterson out of the side. Personally think the problem is greater in the midfield so would prefer Garner used differently there first.
