Exactly, the original comment about him being an England RB was bllx, he may have stood in against other U21s but would not hold his own against the full teams so why would we play him there?

Maybe to concede even more,RBS play in the RB position, strikers play up front, it isn’t rocket science playing players where they should play.

To me, I don't get Dave saying we need to bring in a CM to replace Gather playing at RB... It's just making more square pegs. Surely we bring in a RB and play Garner in his optimum position?

He played there and got great reviews for his performances. He played RWB for Everton and got rave reviews for his perfomance.

Until we get Coleman back the obvious choice is to go with Garner at RB. Just as the obvious choice at LB right now is Mykolenko who can at least defend.

He played there and was decent, at a low, low level, even by your stupid standards. He played RWB and was alright for everyone, except you, as for you he's great based on the fact he's not played for Rangers and legitimately nothing else.

Anthony Gordon, a winger, played as striker and was player of the tournament, that's how low the level is.

The only obvious choice is for Danny to ban you so you don't troll every thread with dumb bigotry and baitposting, but here we are.

I said it before our main priority should have been competent attacking fullbacks in the summer but we kind of screwed ourselves by getting two unproven guys in Patterson and Myko that needed to be developed. It’s one of those situations where we had to bank on them improving because we had some massive gaps in the team at striker and on the wing but now we are feeling the aftermath.

We are getting rinsed on the wings without showing much threat in the other direction. Other teams can pin our fullbacks because we can’t counter them out wide. If we had some threat they would think twice about sitting so high all of the time.
