I wouldn't be so sure, boyhood Liverpool fan, we need a bit of reshaping, but selling our best player would be a big call. Its typical Sunday rumours, but i wouldn't be surprised to see them come in for him seriously. They are aching for a top left sided defender and Baines is one of the best in the country, they've got money to spend so it wouldn't come as a shock to see them interested.

David Vaughan and Hugo Rodallega anyone?

Lose quite a few players, bring in some young, inexpensive signings from the Championship, perhaps raid this years relegation fodder for the likes of Vaughan, Rodallega etc dependant on who goes down.

And then fight it out for top half, hopefully with a good cup run in there somewhere.

Just raid whatever teams go down, because theres a couple of players in each of them that would improve us no end and probably wouldn't cost as much if the teams went down...

McCarthy and N'Zogbia at Wigan, Jarvis and Doyle at Wolves. Dann and Larsson at Birmingham. Cole, Ba, Noble, Parker, Hitzlsperger from West Ham, Adam and Vaughan from Blackpool, Hoilett, Samba and Pedersen from Blackburn.

Other than that, take a gamble on a couple of young foreign talents like Gueye. Shouldn't cost too much which is ideal as we'l have sod all to spend other than what we make.

I have to say in light of all of this dishonesty I do find myself questioning this post.

I do run a business, for what it's worth, mate. £5.2m turnover, 86% growth last year. Doesn't make my opinion any more or less valid, mind.
