Indeed.You'd have to be an idiot to really. He lied about it almost exclusively before the last election, and for him to stand there and claim to not want privatisation of the NHS (whilst, incidentally, not answering the question he was asked, as usual) is an outright lie. It's in his Thatcherite DNA to want it. To then compare privatisation to the work of something like Marie Curie is outright despicable.
As a frontline NHS person, the cuts over the last 5 years have been crippling, yet still we manage to function, not because of this regime, but in spite of it.
There's a lot of suspicion within that it's a case of "cut its funding, watch it fail, sell it off, claiming inefficiency".
