The biggest bottle job in history

Newcastle. Beat the RS and win the league. 2:1 up at half time. Just see it out but that little Geordie donny Osmond carried on playing attacking against that lot. Inevitable and his blag pretend cry over the hoarding. What a side them. Ultimate bottle job. Definitely dodgy.

I think we would have lost still, but would have given them a proper game over 90 minutes.

People forget how good some of those Chelsea, Arsenal, Utd sides were back then. Wasn't just us who struggled against them, EVERYONE did.

That Chelsea side that beat us had one of the best PL forwards of the last 20 years. Absolute quality forward player.
Osman and Hibbert get grief but up against malouda and cole who were unbelievable down that side.

Osman and Hobbert got hammered, but Ashley Cole and Florent Malouda were on fire at the time individually and as a flank partnership.

Think Moyes was daft playing Hibbert as he had a knock tbf.

Yes who was the Danish player he brought on who probably should have started.

Compared to what we have now, Osman was prime Hristo Stoichkov lol
