Why can't they be alcoholic, gambling addicted women beaters like the good old days......the games gone.
Who's to say he isn't those things too? But I suspect not, which, depending on your point of view, is either a very good thing or slightly disappointing.

Looks a nice lad to me. I can't dislike him. Anybody pushing the pop culture boundaries is alright by me. I just wish he'd score a few goals first before starring in his next Lolita photo spread. Why? Because he's putting a target on his own back when he really doesn't need to. It's all perception, and rightly or - probably wrongly - some people will now question his commitment and focus. And Burnley now have a convenient red rag for their grock bulls.

At a time when DCL is already, to some extent, depending on a certain amount of patience and goodwill from a frustrated fanbase awaiting his return to form from debilitating injury, he's not making it easy for people to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's drawing ire when he is, potentially, our saviour. The timing of this gives the impression - rightly or wrongly - that he just doesn't seem all that serious about his football at the moment. In our precarious situation, he will inevitably become draw flak.

A hat-trick tomorrow will silence all doubters - if not the homophobes. It's always been the case that players can get away with almost anything if they are doing it on the pitch. I like DCL. I think he'd make a great teen pin-up. Even when he is not dressed as a schoolgirl.

I can see it now: ambiguously gay pop duo, Dom and Tom. Dom is the dapper, pouty, flamboyant lead-singer, while Tom silently frowns standing stock still playing the synthesiser dressed as Marie Antoinette....on a skateboard. Ladies and Gentlemen: I give you, The Top Shop Boys.

What I don’t get( and this goes for catwalk modeling in general) is who looks at these pictures and thinks, I want to look and dress like that?. Might as well dress like a clown and look equally as ridiculous.
Mind you, my idea of fashion is a golf polo shirt, not Poulter style obviously

I truly don't think many care what he does in his own spare time, he'd probably get stick if he was a train spotter.

However going the route he's going is to my mind is fine if you can also do it on the pitch.

It's very old hat as well what he's doing, Beckham did it years ago, skirts and all, difference was he could get away with it as he was a great footballer with many honours. To repeat, nothing against it at all but it looks daft.

If skirt and bag combo is good enough for Big Dunc, then where’s the problem, I say.

He only needs to look at how the careers of Davies and Bellerin have gone down the pan to see the pit falls of putting fashun above football.

Get yer head down son and stop arsing about is @ForeverBlue92 's advice
