The end of Hibbo?

I didnt think we did lack balance, we could have used the right more, but it was nothing in comparison to the days before coleman, and in general havent with Coleman in the team, in short Coleman has improved us as a side from the days when Hibbert/Neville played RB.

As for your second, I agree those are all very admirable traits, but it doesnt make them any more deserving of being selected in the startin 11 over better players
Well maybe not, but equally it does not mean people can verbally abuse them and **** them off from behind a computer screen, they've dedicated their careers to our football club, they've never made a mockery out of us or brought us any shame (a la van der meyde, royston drenthe, danny cadamarteri...) and they are still there or there abouts and i have no doubt that both of them will play important parts in this season. IN MY OPINION Tony Hibbert is a better defender (you know, a traditional defender who defends, to clear up any confusion) now that is not me criticising Coleman or John Stones, or Jonny Heitinga or Jags or ANYONE else in any way at all, that is my opinion and i feel Tony Hibbert is as important to our football club as anyone else. If you don't like my opinion well i don't really care, just don't try and inflict your own opinion on me, or try to change my mind, or try to silence me, because I was brought up to speak my mind, and that's what i do!

chill out, no ones trying to silence, i thought we were having debate, so i was giving you my opinion not inflicting it. If I dont rate a player I say so, I dont attack them a person I say they arent good enough, I'm an everton fan, I'm not a sycophant who blindly loves everything and everyone at the club and thinks every player that ever plays for them is boss

Well fair enough. This isn't a personal reflection on you, this is me defending Tony Hibbert who, imo, has been an unsung hero for many years but so many people on here want rid of him now when he still has plenty to offer to the first team

Me and you usually get on fine when it comes to arguing the toss about things, but I completely disagree with everything you're saying - yeah Tony has switched off in the past and conceded goals, but so has Seamus Coleman, infact, so has Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Heitinga, Tim Howard, I could go on but I wont. Again, as i've just said, I have no problem at all with Seamus Coleman, he's a good little player, but for me i'd rather see him further up the field with Tony Hibbert behind him, shoring things up. Every footballer switches off from time to time, i challenge you to find me one who doesn't! And the majority of the first team did at some point or other yesterday alone!

Yeah sure, every player switches off and makes mistakes at times. But Hibbert used to do it too often for me for anyone to be able to say he's that much of a better defender than Coleman that he should play ahead of him.

He's better at 1 on 1 sure, but Coleman is the better all round fullback who can defend and attack and Everton as a team in 2013 need, and are better off with Coleman overall ability than they are with Hibberts better tackling.

But i know i ain't gonna change your mind and you ain't gonna change mine, no harm trying though cause evryone loves a tryer!

The modern game Coleman's perfect ... Old school full backs just don't have room for the top teams anymore , that being said he deserves to be kept on in some capacity maybe just playing / coaching in reserve games

Love Hibbo, love Ossie.

Do not think anyone is saying they do not love or respect them, but there comes a time when they should move on.

Interesting that my previous comment earned me 2 anonymous pink blobs, thank you, but whatever happened to have an opinion of one's own, if you disagree say so in public and stop hiding. Wonder if those same two people gave Walken pink blobs as well for his support of my comment.

I've been getting negged all season, mainly for my comments on Osman rather than Hibbo, his little fan club get very precious over Leon

I heard Howard is ****e at headers.

comparing a full backs attacking traits to a goalkeepers outfield traits, its no wonder this country is in the dark ages football wise

defenders defend! they dont need to have basic skills or be able to track a bag of cement, it doesnt matter that they are terrified of having the ball at their feet, just hoof it out, the attcking players can deal with that
