The EU deal

Immigrants make a net contribution to the UK economy, mate - haven't you heard?

£2bn per year for a net increase of 184,000 people (Year on year) Not much of a contribution, is it?

And all the many Turks I know and work with (and there must be a dozen working at my workplace) are absolute grafters.

And the British aren't? You're not? I'm not? Anyone on here from the UK isn't?

That could be construed as downplaying the contribution the British make to their own economy to fit the argument. It's certainly one used by parasitical (And frankly, racist) agencies to promote cheaper foreign labour, and drive wages down.

But it won't be 30% & nor will it be as much as 5%.

And then the figures you give for Muslims in employment only tell half a story too. The reason these figures are high is down to discrimination. Once again you point the finger at the wrong people.
Proof? Or is it just the usual left wing tactic of creating a grievance and exploiting it for votes?

I am drifting to Out now. But based on such a rubbish premise it is daft.

Basically, I now reckon that any facts and figures bandied about are tripe. Ditto for projections, predictions, and general musings.

But, voting to stay in gives us no option to get out for beards. If it all goes pear shaped.

But a vote to bail out, might, just might, actually be a wake up call to others in the EU that this thing needs reform. I am reasonably sure that it aint just Brits who are a bit dithery about the EU.

How many people get representation then. We have a clear majority government and 63% did not vote for them. You may believe this is true democracy? Cameron could lead in Europe just as much, he chooses not to. It is here the problem is. Dont blame Europe for our insipid politicians. They cant hold a party together never mind a continent.

63 % didn't vote for Merkel either. Or the other 37%.
Do you believe that's true democracy?

Maybe it's because she's more aligned with your political leanings you think that's OK I don't know?
But that seems to be part of the problem to me. Some people want to be aligned with other countries purely because they've got the government they wish we had.
And they think that somehow that will benefit us.

I want elected leaders to be accountable to their own electorate myself.

And you have the audacity to suggest it's Remain who are fear mongering! To suggest we have little or no influence in the EU is outright lies.

Furthermore to suggest that language is a barrier to trade is typical of the xenophobic undertones driving the Leave campaign. There's no place for it in the debate because it's just not relevant.

Unlike the remain campaigns project fear, everything I've said is based on fact. It is well known that the UK is routinely outvoted in the EU. Over the last 20 years, we've failed in 55 attempts to vote down proposals which have become law. Other examples here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/new...-are-outvoted-time-and-again-in-Brussels.html

...and I don't know why you think that is fear mongering?!

Secondly, I didn't say language was a barrier to trade, I said UK companies dealing with English-speaking colleagues is easier because, you know, it is.

How dare you suggest I'm being xenophobic! A perfect example of the ignorance of fact that remainers continue to display. Brexiters want us to re-engage with the rest of the world - the 6.5 billion people outside the stagnant EU area. We have to limit the immigration of highly trained people from anywhere outside the EU because we're obliged to accept anyone who wants to come to the UK from the EU regardless. The protectionism of the EU and the humiliation of Greece are further examples of the immorality of the EU, not to mention the lack of democratic process or accountability.

You offered no argument for the remain side, you just attempted to smear me and the leave campaign because you can't face the facts - just like the official remain campaign, hence the completely made up fear mongering.
