The EU deal

The level of public discourse around this subject has led me to conclude that I can't think of anything more dangerous than a public referendum, it's like a game of Chess between Kasparov and Botvinnik going down to the last move and Kasparov bottling it and asking Joey Essex to decide for him. Scares the crap out of me...

I see where he's coming from, it's pure propaganda and that drowns any valid issues they mention.
Obviously, the central premise, democracy vs dictatorship is unsound, unless one is also intending to establish a democratic system here upon brexit.

You watched 1.30 minutes of a 71 minute film, or 1.8%, and you make a judgement? I think your mind was already made up before you started watching.

Just watched the 'Vote leave' broadcast.

What a load of shabbite, if anyone believes the alleged £350m saved by getting out will be used on the NHS really does need their heads testing. It'll go on tax breaks for the rich.

Still on the 'out' side of the fence, but they really need to do far better than that pile of crap they've just produced.

Because those caring tories (who haven't got vested interests in privatising the NHS honest to god) have done wonders, haven't they? They'll make it all better once we're out...

It really is starting to grind now, from both sides. I haven't heard one single fact from either side, yet some div what works at B&Q (Where call me dave & gidiot gave bluster speeches today) said he was a lot clearer on the issues after hearing them...

I despair.

Sums it up perfectly. Whenever politicians try to debate it, it turns into a bickering match with one side stating a 'fact', then the other side laugh at said fact and pluck a completely different number out of the air and claim that to be the 'fact', rinse and repeat.

People on here will have lots more life experience than me (not calling you old... promise...) and own businesses and whatever who will have a better idea of how staying in/leaving will impact them. Whereas I'm a 25 year old who's been in full time employment for just 3 years and take relatively little interest in politics. How am I supposed to make an informed decision on whether we'd be better of to leave or stay?

Indeed. I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent, but I, like you, despair at the actual rubbish spouted by both sides.

Still not a clue how I will vote.
