The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

I am by no means an expert, but from the outside, Everton is perceived as a club that is run well but under limited resources. This in turn lowers expectations, so when you have a season like last year, it looks very impressive.

I have no opinion re: Kenwright. I don't know anything about him and therefore cannot comment. I know that he is detested by some (many?) on here, which suggests to me that there are reasons to dislike him, but I can't say more than that. I can understand that sentiment is particularly low during the current campaign which has been a let down, esp. when you expected your side to push on from last season's success/progress.

We will be going into our 21st year in the new season with nothing won and 2 failed ground moves - it,s not personal it,s just the way it is.

I don't know the board. Our owners are fabulous.

And just to be clear, I didn't post in this thread out of the blue. I was tagged a few posts above.
LOL Im not haig a go RED I just wondered what your opinion of your current owners was, seen some for them some against

.....can't change for change sakes, somebody could come in and totally ruin us. I'm not resistent to change but it has to be for the better. Sometimes it's better the devil you know.

Well yeah imagine someone coming in and steering the club to silverware and a new ground -- to risky

Well, I think it comes down to expectations. If you expect them to be Abramovich/Sheikh Mansour, then you're going to be disappointed. So far, they've done everything they said they would which is a very positive sign. Let's just say that they are not a cause for concern, which is a million miles away from the cancers we had before them.

And here my friends is why Evertonians will never remove BK and Evertonians will continue to get what they deserve for many more years to come....

Nothing personal.

Kenwright and the board are a disgrace mate.
We have won nothing with him at the helm and the way he treats the fans is a disgrace.
Moyes made him look good and now he will be squirming with martinez in charge.

This is correct, but its a real hard thing for Evertonians to accept, we know that we need a change but a club in our position could easily end up getting someone who will proper ruin us forever. Turn us in Leeds, idiots like Blackburn and Newcastle found themselves with...etc The good thing about Kenwright being hard to unseat is that those types wont be buying us, the bad thing about Kenwright being hard to move on is that we are stuck with him, like you say its the devil we know.
