The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Teams what have spent more money than Everton:

All of them

Seriously when a healthy percentage of Championship clubs seem to have more financial clout it may be time to reevaluate one's ability to run a club. Especially when that club has ambitions at the top end of the table.
Tottenham haven't brought anyone in yet, have they?

Have Palace done more business than bringing in a free? QPR have only brought in Rio, yeah? And that's not even going into who has negative spends currently, like Southampton.

Yeh mate they're buying Stones didn't you hear.

Seriously though we saw a bunch of incoming transfer money not get spent last summer then another chunk of incoming transfer money not get spent in January, that's not even acknowledging the new TV money where teams like Norwich were able to fund a respectable £20m net spend on.

We're just sick and tired of seeing bags of money disappear window after window.

Something is majorly wrong if no significant investment takes place this Summer. We have an extra 112 million to spend over the next three years, in addition to our 40 million pound of recent player sales.

Your see most of that disappear in "the other operating costs".

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we saw another negative net spend window again. This is Kenwright's Everton we're talking about - the club where jam tomorrow is the staple diet.

The carpet baggers will do all in their power to make sure as little cash goes on squad building, you can guarantee that. It's in their DNA/fabric/whatever...

We go the game
We buy no player
It's what we do

Read the accounts and educate yourself ffs

IF this season, with its massive increase in TV revenue doesn't result in a large investment in the playing squad, then it's time for an inquest, until then you're talking mince

My estimate listening to the chancer Elstone at the Phil was that they expect £30 million plus in more turnover thanks to Sky, plus £20 million plus they didnt spend last summer. So, using my rocket science, they have £50 million plus.

The £20m that supposedly wasn't spent last summer is derived how exactly?
