The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

I've no wish to hear about your bestiality with horses. That's just sick.

I'm sorry, I didn't know I was touching a raw nerve. I know you're a personal friend of bills, as you've said on many occasions.

Saw him once, at the Playhouse , years ago. It was a try out for a 70s musical he'd produced. As I passed I said 'Will it get to the West End Bill?' and he replied ' Not yet, it needs a lot of work'. Thats the sum total of my 'personal' contact with Bill Kenwright. I've also written to him twice on business matters. So he's hardly a 'personal friend' and I have never ever said he is. So I'm sorry, but youre completely...er...'in error' (!) on that one .In other words what you are saying is complete bollocks. I think youre struggling with the fact that Everton are spending money and the chairman is currently getting some credit points on here. Live with it....enjoy the moment, or get help.

Alright Steve, put your teeth back in.

Sorry, but you've given the impression on many occasions that you and Kenwright are colleagues in the dramatic arts. It was only last week that you stated you were about to embark on a joint business venture with fat head. You're being a bit disingenuous here.

I get that, in fact I think Kenwright gets a lot of stick that should be aimed towards the rest of the board.

The board as a whole should stump up, otherwise what's the point of them being on the board?

On the other hand, we have just signed Lukaku!!!

He, Kenwright, has publicly come out and said he speaks for ALL the three on the board.

As for 'what's the point of them being on the board' we have one board member who couldnt give a monkeys and hasnt attended a GM for god knows how many years.

Hasn't Jon Wood got more money than Abramovich? Someone/something like that.

I dont mean to offend but that right there shows how out of touch Evertonians are with with regards to the background, the goings on and the misinformation at our club.

So him not knowing the net worth of Woods means he hasn't got a clue about the goings on at Everton?

Behave

The thing is Snap the vast majority of Evertonians dont know or care what goes on in the background its all about whats happening
on the pitch, and that applies to most football fans

The papers would be full of it even if it was close to the truth.

This forum would be full of it even if it was close to the truth.

Even Stevie would have mentioned it by now.

Its not rocket science

Excellent point JC, and thats why we are in the position we are in by not having income streams to match our history, heritage and standing as one of English footballs powerhouses.

I agree Snap we were one of the big 5 pushing for the PL unfortunately consecutiive boards/chairmen have been short sighted
over the past 30 years or so,after the Taylor report there ws a chance to improve the stadium which wasnt taken,BK has a lot to answer for but
hes not the only one

Totally agree he isnt the only one but we have him who loves the limelight, we have Woods who doesnt appear to open his mouth and loves to stand one yard behind Kenwright whenever you see them both together and then there is Earl who, like I said, couldnt give a monkeys enough to attend GM's.

Fat head's the front man for the offshore financial vehicle lads. He's the English based semi-respectable front for the foreign ownership of Everton.

Again though Snap unless there was a major crisis then most people wont/dont care as the information the majority digest
is from the local rag or from the nationals stating how well the club is run whether we like it or not until things go drastically wrong
then there will be no peasants uprising, for all the bluster from both cmps on here nothing is going to change until the fortunes of
the club do
