The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Please stop being thrilled that the board are actually doing what the should be doing, Investing the money we get from player sales back into the squad

We are not a league one team ffs we are a top 6 side in the most lucrative league in the world

Don't settle for mediocrity lads, This club deserves so much better

I would have to question your figures, ive done my own and I work out that we have spent ALL the TV money.

Last seasons income from Fellaini paid for this seasons Lukaku.

So we have tv money that just been paid thats around £33 million up on this time last year, we then add £12 million from transfers out (running total now £45 million), after that we take out £29 million for this and last seasons transfer in out which leaves approx £16 million.

All approx figures though.

And then you have to take out an accouting loss of 9m from 2 years ago, take out the 2m compo we paid for Martinez, then theres the money Martinez has said we are gonna use to improve FF, the money we are spening on Goodison, the money we have "wasted" on 2 badges and then lets not forget the space age grass and the top of the range lawnmowers. And theres always the chance that we paid loan fees for 3 of the players we loaned last season.

....then there is the transfer profit from two seasons ago of £2 million, from three seasons ago of £12 million, of four seasons ago of £2 million and of five seasons ago it was £3 million.

Honestly, ive gone that far back and ive counted every penny in and out of the club, it all adds up to a big fat ZERO.

Alright Steve, put your teeth back in.

Sorry, but you've given the impression on many occasions that you and Kenwright are colleagues in the dramatic arts. It was only last week that you stated you were about to embark on a joint business venture with fat head. You're being a bit disingenuous here.

Read my post again...I said I was writing to him with a creative suggestion. I didn't say I was 'embarking on a business venture with him' I've never denied that I work in the entertainment business, but neither have I ever said that I know BK personally. Youre making it up...probably out of desperation because the guy you trawl the internet trying to dig dirt on because of your seedy obsession is actually getting some credit points on here. Surely you don't think that the thousands of people working in the entertainment industry in this country are all colleagues of Bill Kenwright?

Breath goat breath. I got this.

We got money. Just its not worth speculation on how much. January proved Martinez will only spend it if he wants to. If the players available aren't what he wants. He won't.

He spends when he wants.
He spends when he wants.
Oh Roberto Martinez.
He spends when he wants.

They have spent the Felliani, Jelavic and Vic money, So what?

Are we now giving Bill a pat on the back for not making the money brought in from transfers vanish

Well in Bill lad, Best blue ever, Keep up the sterling work

Like you imply, the spending of this money should really be a given. It's still been spent in good time for the first time in ages and that must reflect on both Roberto and the board. I expect to see us flash more cash though before the end of the window.

I used to like your technical finanical breakdowns by the pound using coloured fonts a lot more than these vague statements Damo.
