The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

I can't and won't forgive the current custodians of our club over Kings Dock. That was our golden ticket

No arguments there, they screwed up, big style.
It happened though ( or rather it didn't ) and we can't change that. Look forward, not back.

Not selling anyone would be a signal of happiness in the squad and a bit of self belief.

Spending this year's money would actually be a sign of intent from the board.

Spent it on what tho mate?

Think it would be prudent to hold onto any surplus and keep until next season when we will have CL football to plan for.

A back up keeper, a boss winger and/or another number 10.

We will need this to get into the CL, otherwise we're gonna be finishing 6th.

But what good does it do to hold this cock-up against them forever?

I think a little faith and optimism from the support can go a long way to help the players out there achieve a trophy and/or Champs League. The club seems to be in harmony right now, from the Board down to the tealady and everyone in-between. Just that some of our fans aren't quite buying it yet.

I get this, but hope maybe you and others can offer some relief if/when the window closes positively.

Chelsea are likely to have 93 year old Schahwhwhwhwhaza as their back up keeper, not many clubs in the league have a good back up keeper.

Atsu is likely to come in and I do agree I would like to see another number 10 come in, I see no point in spunking actual money on it tho, Ross innit.

Point is there's still plenty of room to improve, and with permanent deals too. Pienaar's not getting any younger and Ross could break his leg in the first game. United chuck in Kagawa, Chelsea chuck in Shirley, we chuck in Osman ffs.

Taking into account last seasons transfer surplus and this seasons tv money we should have £48 million to spend. After the transfer fees for Lukaku and Besic have been taken out then that leaves £16 million in the kitty.

I sort of agree with both of you here, but I'd like a little more depth for Europe this year.

I suspect its something Bobby is working on.

I would have to question your figures, ive done my own and I work out that we have spent ALL the TV money.

Me too mate, that's the key, we've got a lot of games this year, injuries and fatigue are going to happen, we need to buy more quality in. We've nearly reached the glass ceiling, let's spend and push on through.
