Sorry but I don't see what the board have to do with this.Difference is Lescott, Fellaini and Arteta gave us their best years. They stuck with us long enough to see if we could make it then left. Stones has had two seasons with us one spent mostly on the bench because he was a teenage right back from Barnsley. So he's jumping ship after one season as a first team player. Shameful on both the boards behalf and John Stones'. Fellaini still gets a decent reception at Goodison, Stones' will be worse than Rooney's.
That's not very nice, is it?All had ANOTHER thing in common - they left it very late in the window before they left. And you forgot Arteta..........
Even rats in a maze get the correct route after a while. Takes some a lot longer than others, I'm guessing.
Sorry but I don't see what the board have to do with this.
They've turned down 3 bids, a director has come out and said he's not for sale and I fully expect them to refuse his transfer request.

So the player is being forced out to the Champions and has had a gun held to his head to hand in a transfer request? Ok mate. It's a conspiracy. No it's not really We're skint so we sell stones and then we buy = makes perfect sence and in the meantime stones gets abused when it's the board who it should be aimed at.
I know what a metaphor is thank you.*Sighs*
It's a metaphor. As though we're all rats in a maze and some of us have found the way out?
Seen the light, yet?

So the player wouldn't fancy a move to the Champions and £100k a week if we'd have bought a few more new faces by now? Dear oh dear...I've mentioned else where that if the board's response to finishing in the bottom half had been befitting for a club of our stature Stones wouldn't be handing in a request. It's because of this board that he is. 11th and we respond with the lowest spend in the prem? NSNO indeed.
So you KNOW he's been told to by Kenwright? And this isn't merely a player who's trying to force a move after his parent club have consistently said he's not for sale?Who said a gun? Lol really. Like I say stones handing in the transfer request makes him look the bad guy. When we know who it is. Clap clap clap
His health hasn't been too good. There's always a chance of that. When Stones goes and we don't really bring anyone decent in this window will have been worse than I would have ever expected. There must be a reason.Deja vu maybe: I get the same vibe as when the galoot was sold by Johnson to clear debts and then pretty much called it a day thereafter.
Is this the Kenwright Gang's attempt to wipe out debt and leave with a sale?
It's looking as desperate as that at this moment.

Which is more likely.......answers on a postcard...
