It is like asking what disease you want to kill you.

Lerner has invested more money into Aston Villa than what Kenwright has into Everton.

You're trying to make some point here by saying 'Look at Lerner, do you want him?'

How about looking at City? I know that goes against your agenda here though of takeovers actually being successful.

3 failed ground moves, NTL deal cock-up, selling off of our major assets over the years, no investment into Goodison, couldn't even build an office block at the end of the car park and no club presence in the city centre for years.

But yes, let's look to the lower clubs as some sort of barometer of what we should and shouldn't be happy with.

I think we have seen the new low now. Evertonians saying Randy Lerner is better chairman than Bill Kenwright.

@Sapie88 or someone with the skills please make photoshop pic where General Rodgers lays a wreath on Finners.

Seemed to me that kenwright didn't have a clue...So he simply had to ask the fella he'd just sacked.

I'm pretty certain you weren't privy to the inner thoughts of the board and Kenwright at the time so that would be just speculation.

Whether he consulted Smith is neither here nor there what's important is the right decision was made and right man was employed.

What's important, Dougal, is that it was down to walter rather than good judgement on kenwright's part. If I ask you for a tip on the horses & it comes in, I can't take credit for it.

Didn't Bill say once that Jenny decided she liked Moyes and that was the key factor in making his mind up. What if Jenny hadn't liked Moyes?

Gary Megson was next in line wasn't he??

Thanks Jenny, you deserve a plan with a banner. :coffee:
