Don't be daft he's constantly sanctioned record breaking transfers, how many premiership clubs have a £28m striker?

Less of the 'constantly' as though it's been a common occurrence.

For every splash out there's been at least one lean window...And they were from sales that he stuck down on anyway; so he hasn't funded any of them from anywhere else other than sales & this new Tv money

It has been a common occurrence though, and it really doesn't matter if it's club generated or from his pocket. I fact it's better being club generated as it shows we're a well run business.

How common and under what circumstances?

We've broke the outgoing fee before the incoming one on just about every occasion.

If it weren't for Rooney (Who wasn't being sold for £50m by kenwright the week before billox sold him for 54% of that sum) We wouldn't have had a pot to p1ss in and probly would've gone under, under billox's stewardship.

The whole of our transfer dealings ever since has been down to rooney's sale.

Whose money is it then?

The money belongs to the club, the club belongs to the shareholders, the Board own 69% of the company.

It's all TV money and player sales, basically. Without those, given this board's T-Rex arms when it comes to reaching into their own pockets over the years, we'd be in the Evo-Stik Premier League by now. I don't have to tell you of all the failures this board has overseen. About the only thing they've done right is to avoid knee-jerk reactions when it comes to managers; they stuck with Moyes (probably a bit longer than they should have) and show no signs of ditching Martinez. And that's probably down to trying to avoid compo as much as anything else. The marketing department is an embarrassment, the legal beagles are rabidly going after small-business owners in Doncaster, the suntanned wonder is abysmal in his job, there's yet another failed ground move on the cards, need I go on?

Good business practice.

A bitter pill to swallow as a fan but it helped the club grow, leadership like that makes people very successful.

FFS.

Good business practice would mean the club could generate revenue without having to have sold our most valuable players, and other tangible assets, while maxing out the credit card.

Give your head a wobble, Dougal.

How many clubs have sold players for £20m+?

Aston Villa spent that on Darren Bent, btw.

You're completely ignoring inflation too. Don't let any of this spoil your pro-Kenwright agenda though.

For a start Villa never spent £28m on Bent.

As for how many clubs have sold players for £20m+ I'd suggest there's plenty, probably at least 50% of a premiership leagues worth.

Also every club faces the same inflated prices not just Everton you know.

Business's trade on commodities. Other clubs want something you've got sell it high, you want something another club has buy it low. Kenwright and his board have been very successful at this since he took charge.
