No they borrow for players they spend 90% of what they make on wages. Anything they spend over that and they do - horribly is debt. 140 mill accumalted since Learner took over from 0.
Its opinions of course, but i dont think Villa have a bigger squad then us, isnt there a cap of 25 anyway, certainly in terms of quality - i think we are stronger and they will heamorgae players this summer gaurenteed - they have to.
i have to laugh when people use the boards lack of finance as a positive, its not as if they aimed to achieve being useless at providing funds............or is it? <music fron twilight zone fades in>
This is why the commercial retardation under their *stewardship* is such an important point to make. Regardless of their personal wealth and ability/inability to put money in, these people are all businessmen but we've stagnated with their *expertise* on board.
As I said earlier, they couldn't run a whelk stall when it comes to football. And that leather faced CEO...dont get me started on that poseur.
I'm struggling to make sense of what you're trying to convey? Would you care to expand on it a little or are you just taking potshots at random posts again.i have to laugh when people use the boards lack of finance as a positive, its not as if they aimed to achieve being useless at providing funds............or is it? <music fron twilight zone fades in>
Growth of the commercial side of Everton is pitiful. From 2004 to 2010 the board and CEO increased this stream from £8M to just under £10M. Spurs in the same period grew their commercial revenue from £16M to £31M.
Clueless.
neilers post(1550) he loves to make out that because villa overspent, and we didnt, its something to gloat about, but fails to make the connection, we are poorly run on every money making avenue open to us.
kit deals. farcical
ground moves. worse than farcical
annexxe. embarressing
catering. a hit after so many misses
our total growth in annual income(taking out sky etc). would shame some championship teams. really, for a bunch of businessmen, its a joke. just not a funny, unless your NOT an evertonian.
but hey, lets laugh at teams who have had a go. but just watch and see if they get their act together, what their income streams do. they could still have the last laugh the way we shape.
You heard it here first mate, sit back and enjoy!
