We could do much, much better than the current board. We could also do worse but it shouldn't prohibit you from striving for better, obviously that needs to have realism.

F*cking up the Kings Dock is the single most galling thing Everton have done since I have followed them, how ace would have that been? I also think it's an absolute scandal with their refusal to back the Manager with decent funds.

It's not just Kenwright, there are people in senior positions at the club who are incompetent and hold the club back. If we want to move forward and actually have a chance of winning shiny stuff then the lot of them need to go.

Now back to your rhetoric you gang of beauts.

Tbh I haven't looked at the figures, but when you hear the like of Birmingham and some other PL bottom feeders not Everton's merchandise being readily available in various countries then something is not right. Surely this oversight is purely down the CEO and his team. I say shoot the feckers.

He's culpable. My problem with him is that when he talks of building the club he's talking about a 'new facility'. Well that's an all eggs in one basket policy that's led us into this present cul-de-sac. Since the latest stadium fiasco he's turned his attention to the Park End annexe to get things moving merchandise-wise. Now, leaving aside how lucrative a deal that may or may not have been for Everton, that plan is now in ruins because of legal obstacles that it's his job to cut through before announcements like the annexe are made.

Our predicament cant be laid solely at the door of Elstone, obviously, but he's going to have to show something more than just talking a good game about nurturing the 'brand'.

No, no, no! You can't just hop back on! You're with the anti-Kenwrighters now!

On subject, ironically Kenwright himself cannot fund Everton at all, and I wouldn't expect him to, given his net worth is around £8-10m. He himself admits he isn't rich enough to own a football club in the modern era.

That will be why he is working 24/7 looking for the right buyer

Only partially right sadly. He'll be working 24/7 to find the buyer who will give him the most profit for his marginal investment. Because he's a businessman.

He has little to no interest in the welfare of Everton, and anyone who actually believes he does probably also believes Gaddafi is concerned about the welfare of his rebel citizens in Libya.

again, missing the point, we all wondered how we would cope losing ONE player, imagine if we let ten go, this site would explode.
Who is we all? I along with many was glad to the see the back of a player who was basically holding out for more than he was worth TO US and I'd gladly say that about any other Everton player thinking of doing the same.
Anyway, as everyone knows they'll be several exiting this summer so brace yourself lad.

and the point is?
we have to sell to buy, as do villa. we have someone making out that letting ten go is a statement of the financial problems. mine was we haven't got ten we can afford to let go.

We're not in the same financial position as Villa though...they've got a bigger squad of players on high salaries courtesy of O'Neill. O'Neill left as he was told to to cut the wage bill and wasn't given any more funds. The Villa are still trying to recoup some of financial bother he's left them in....all to not finish above Everton in the league

holy ****, how much do you need spelling out? for a couple of seasons they have carried a much larger squad than us, albeit, without doing any better, on a similar income from sky and supporters. because off the field their income is better more, and they have someone who can invest in the squad. now look at us. can you see anything now?

The demi god 'Randy Lerner' is having a fire sale in an effort to reduce wage costs, and size.
Bye bye Villa, relegation fodder next season.

at a time when we were having to put up with freebies, loans, and sell to buy. villas chairman backed the manager financially, because he could. Lerner is not a billionaire, nor does he expect to make a quick buck and do one. and , if the rumours are true, HE LOOKED AT EVERTON. do i really have to paint a picture? im beginning to see a connection between supporting kenwright and being unable to see the bleeding obvious.
