Fair do'z Chico we do sound like broken records I know but maybe just maybe the ratio for and against the board may tilt in favour of maybe some form of protesting which I would get behind 2morrow based on my beliefs , wheather that happens remains to be seen
When was the last time, that we purchased players in two transfer windows in a season?
To me, its an arguement over semantics. If you really want to separate this transfer window from January, when they happen in the same season, accept that argument. The reality is that Everton don't normaly sign someone in both summer and winter transfer windows.
If you really want to get down to semantics, we purchased Magaye Gueye and Apostolis last transfer window.
And yes, money changed hands so they are purchases.
Do you really want to continue this argument?
I think I'm gonna merge this with the Kenwright board thread.
Any objections???

agree with ya completely but sadly without more people who have the same intention it's difficult to put it into practice , the scarf thing is a start but if there where enough people to protest I would be there in a flash , the thing with Robert Earle hes just a mate of Kenwright who has helped him out with transfers in the past like the Yakubu transfer Iam led to believe and now doesn't want any more involvement , I think if we had the right buyer for Kenwright, Earle would sell to IMO but hey until there's a large majority were honestly fighting a loosing battle with action , that's the reason I continuesly post on forums ect ectI don't want to go into what "commonsense" proposal that I'd make, but I agree with much of what you say. I personally think that £125m is too high, but I'm not in hgh finance. The concentration on Bill is understandable, but I'd rather concentrate on Earl and the others who don't even have a particular love of the club. How we move towards your position of getting movement on this issue is what we should be talking about.
All I'd say on the stadia is if we'd move to DK, Bill would have sold the club. At the moment, staying at GP with no movement to other sites (which the prefer - see Silas interview with Graeme Sharp) is to me the key sticking point to any sale. Billionaires do not build new stadia and Bill's plan B is simply to stay put.
Anyway, Keyboard masturbation only leaves a lot of wet stuff over the place with no action.
Lets talk about action. Its the only way it can be done.
Ive just realised we bought 3 players in summer 2009 but that was with the Lescott money so i'm assuming Dave was referring to the fact that we havent spent money to strengthen the squad in the last 5 opportunities we have had to do so without selling first.
And that sucks, thats the main point mate really.
Gueye and Vellios don't count because they are fringe squad players at best when they came here. And cost bugger all.
We need to sign players that are ready and able to go into our first team and hopefully improve us. But we're not unless we sell a player we already have first.
Whichever way you look at it thats a poor state of affairs for our club.
I've quoted News Int as an example only to show what can be done. I was trying to show some of the threads that could be useful to us. I'll try and summarise;
1. A genuine cause or concern
2. A clear way of resolving that concern that attracts sizeable support and is workable or do able
3. Clear activities (the Everton scarf protest is an example, just shame about the blue bird and negative message)
4. A campaign which is inclusive, seeks to draw in support and is seen as "commonsense"
Without laying out a strategy I can say with confidence that asking for all information on Green is unachievable, even if desirable
Asking someone to sell the club when their is no buyer again is unachievable.
I've said this once, I'll say it again, go beyond the moaning, let's look at uniting fans around clear achievable objectives which draw in those who support the board and those who are opposed to the board.
It seems everton are the only club in europe that cant seem to scout out decent ,free agents or real bargains
I don't see how anyone can argue with much of that.
You've moved the goal post so far apart you could drop the Atlantic ocean in it. You've opened a different discussion rather than simply acknowledging my point.
Perhaps Davek can join this enlightened post, or simply follow his normal modus operandi when he's found out of dropping bombs and slinking away.
Either way, NEVER treat me as a flunky.
Mods, can we merge this with some other thread.
