That's going to be a tricky chant...

"What do we want?"

"To allow the CEO to be left to concentrate on reducing costs, developing our revenue streams and repairing the relationship with the fanbase whilst leaving the board to appoint a fully autonomous group of professional individuals who can effectively develop and implement a strategy that will identify and sell the club to a buyer who can demonstrate an ability and a genuine desire to take the club forward on both a commercial and football level."

"When do we want it?"

"....*puff*...hang...on...*puff*...getting...breath...*puff*...back..."

Quality stuff that.

Sacking is too good for them.

And Im aware what the price was in relation to, hence me saying, total buy price 20m.

Ive said before, this BU thingy doesnt speak for me, but we do share a common goal, to allow our Manager a little cash to spend in transfer windows and the ability to retain our better players every August and January. Im sure you want the same, so instead of picking holes in what they are doing, let them do their thing, every little helps.

Fair enough. Not trying to pick a fight with anyone. Too much trouble and strife within the fanbase. I'd love the same as the BU, but they simply don't speak for me.

Considering that long winded statement - I'm in the strange position of agreeing with them. The problem is I'll reckon there'll be loads of people saying Kenwright out come the real protest.

Also I don't see why Kenwright would as a businessman allow someone else control over the sale of his and the rest of the boards shares.

Why? There's a whole industry that specialises in business sales. Football clubs have has used it. There'd be no precedent created.

Well not immediately no but I doubt they expect it to. It will need to be a prolonged series of protests to make any impact.

Was it the protest marches that got rid of the 2 cowboys from the RS.
No it was the RBS bank forcing them into administration in all but name.
Protest marches achieve nothing, even marches against more serious matters such as stopping countrys going to war achieve nothing

Sure, there'd be no precedent set but it doesn't mean its the preferable cause of action if you are Mr Kenwright. We've got to stop pretending that EFC exists within this bubble of fandom. It's a business, owned by business people. They will do their utmost to make money from their position. Which is no different than any proposed new owner.

There have only been two fairy god mothers in English football - Roman Abromavich and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan - and we've yet to see how those two stories pan out in the long run.

A little presumptuous to find a third I think, especially when both clubs had stadiums fit for purpose when they were bought (although chelsea want to expand by 10k now).

Find me an Evertonian who can answer my question about how a potential investor can make money from EFC within current business models (and without resorting to fairy tales) and I'll be out there with a banner myself trying to oust Kenwright.
