While we're skint and ham strung because of it having approx a quarter of T/O unexplained should raise questions, as it should in any biz.

One look at Kenwrights previous record of shiftiness ref ground issues ducking and diving over selling of the club, binning AGMs and the shadowy presence of Green I'd want chapter and verse on every penny.

The idea auditors are fool proof was blown out the water by the House of Lords Committee looking at the recent major banks fck ups.

as the saying goes: “A little doubt is better than total credulityâ€￾

Yeah, like I said earlier there is a long long list of companies who were auditied and yet still turned out to be dong something dodgy the auditers missed.

I've no problem with anyone questioning the board. As you say there are numerous examples of blue chip companies that were audited to kingdom come and then went pop with billions gone missing the next week BUT

It would be a lot stronger argument if it could be pointed out that x% of other major footy clubs detail their other operating costs or maybe to say that the % of turnover at Everton given over to other operating costs is massive compared to other

However To just say there's something on the balance sheet that says "other...." Therefore it must be Bill's slush fund is ridiculous

I honestly don't think Kenwright is taking money out of the club. I do think that part of our expenses that used to be budgeted for is now being pushed into OOC so our accounts can look better then they are in a certain area.

The only club whose other operating costs are a higher percentage of revenue than Everton are Man City.

The only club whose other operating costs are higher as a percentage of total costs is Arsenal.

The only clubs whose other operating costs are higher in real terms are Villa and Spurs.

Make of those facts what you will.

Thanks for that (genuinely).

Are any of those other costs broken down in detail at those other clubs?

I think Bill is spending the increased costs on hallucinogenics, for personal use, but also shared with his subservient internet drones programmed to respond to any potential criticism on the net.

I'm nobody's bloody drone but if you want to destablise my club then provide proper evidence please. And even then make sure you have a good Plan B if your actions lead to the current regime going tits up!

Not sure if I've ever read that anywhere but I do think Bill has overseen enough duff decisions at the club to question just WHAT IS 25% of T/O going on.

He claims not to know, if that's not enough to raise an eyebrow I really don't know what is.

The bottom line is the bottom line which pot a particular cost is dropped into won't alter it, so whilst I think you're probably right it's only achieved Internet conspiracy theorists having something new to chew on

But that isn't being seriously claimed. It might be joked about or offered as a sort of 'search me' response as to why this category has grown, but for the most part people ask the questions about it because we're a club run by people who have constantly robbed Peter to pay Paul and have been "creative" in terms of shuffling finances around and the suspicion is that OOCs may be connected in some way to all that.

Easy way to solve it: itemise it each year and have the auditors sign off on it.
