 I have seen our accounts, our credit rating and our debt....sorry to say fella but when you choose to buy a club with fk all and then hands the keys to the club to outsiders becuase you did,nt have the dough in the first place then a single season tkt will not touch the sides.

It,s called principle, ethics, integrity those are the values that count for me I see none of that in the owner and now it appears you have lost your focus.

Its called a piss poor excuse fella, as ive just described a business relies on income, so season tickets and match day tickets do touch the sidea really. And its calles being a loyal fan, through thick and thin

Well lets all stop going the game then. Its a business, it relies on income, one of its major sources of income is ticket sales. So thats like comparing apples and oranges

the season tkt sales don,t touch the sides compared to the income from the sky tv money. FACT

The owners feed of the TV Money to sustain and prolong the stagnation.

 I suggest you read up on the TV income vs season tkt sales as a percentage of the clubs revenue stream.

more importantly STOP PREACHING YOUR SUPERFAN S***E when you have miscalculated your direction and focus of your points.

Maybe there needs to be a revolution. Highlight what's wrong and do something about it. Investors need to see potential, both in a team and the clubs potential income. The fact we've been close but no cigar in terms of winning things or champions league football doesn't help. This makes me wonder if a new manager with confidence would help. Look at Laudrup, Swansea had a rough start under him and now they can play top draw football, even after selling they're good players. Remember all the take over rumours when we got champions league football? Even involving money sometimes you just have to let the football do the talking, they're needs to be a change of some sorts. I'd also feel better if Bill got a new manager before he leaves if Moyes does go, both going at similar times could be disastrous

You should get a seat next to tubey at the match. Evertonians content with spending a bit of money and not truely competing. God I'm glad ive seen us lift the league and a European cup because it'll never happen again with fans who have no ambition.

And you wonder why we get called plucky little Everton

Because what I listed above is what it'll take to compete, bottom line. No millionaire business man can achieve all that, even if he was the most savvy of them all
Your argument does tend to smack of 'I'd rather die slowly than try and do something about it..'

I agree that the club has been mismanaged for a long time, but the timescales you mentioned way back didn't have the club in such a precarious position did it? In reality, the club had assets, tangible assets that were bought from Johnson by TBH. Those assets, plus many future revenue streams have been hocked off to prop up this regime and it's inability to find an alternative.
Its a vicious cycle. We will quite probably have to sell Fellaini this summer, for financial reasons. However after today his value will have dropped. That hurts, financially. His replacement will not have the value of a Fellaini at that point in time, unless, which is very unlikely we spend the cash recieved on a like for like player.
Sell, keep banks happy, pay a bit off to the credit card, any left over we use to generate credit to buy a player to replace the one we have, however, our credit rating, us, Everton FC, with so much cash flowing through the business, has a credit rating onm par with Greece, so, to buy this player we have to get credit from the Cayman Islands, home to businessman Robert Earl's businessses, at higher rates than most other clubs which eats at next years money.....blah, blah, blah.
How long has Kenwright presided over this spiralling decline now ? 14 years? Achieving the square root of [Poor language removed] all in the process.
Nothing, absolutely nothing has he brought into Everton FC, not even Rocky was down to him. He's a fuc*ing actor. End of. He deals in lies for a living.

I have, and i know that tv revenue out strips ticket sales, i never said it didn't. Whst i said was it does help, any income helps, stop trying to justify your reasons for not going. If you honestly believe that Everton Football Club can survive off tv money alone, no ticket sales, an empty stadium week in week out we have serious issues

And my direction is that we need a billionaire, you think otherwise but still haven't identified how this woukd happen considering the considerable investment required.

And I don't proclaim to be a super fan, just a fan bud. Someone who goes whether we are crap or not.

At least this thread has thrown up some crackers tonight

to be champs agian we either need a very wealthy backer or someone with the a plan to take us forward a step at a time, get success on the pitch then go forward along side it off the pitch,i cant see either happening anytime soon,we have missed the boat to often in the past to move forward and it looks like we are stuck with this board and plucky little everton for a while yet, were a couple of bad season away from a trainwreck.not a very nice thought really but thats how it stands a mega wealthy takeover that nearly every club on the planet wants, someone with a plan money and willing to be in it for the long term not asking much are we.oh wel fingers crossed

Sorry, not necessarily. If you want to use that argument then you have to accept that to some Evertonians your financial support of the current way of doing things is helping to maintain a piss poor Everton FC.
Besides, the ticket sales were mortgaged a long long time ago to the Pru, using the ground as surety, so when the sales fall and the Pru comes calling, where exactly are you going to sit?
Appreciate some have values attached to this club. My family goes right the way back to St Domingo, I'm from St Domingo road, in Everton. I stopped going to Goodison when the Kirkby debacle was first mooted. Think it doesn't hurt? Think it doesn't matter to me or to my next generation?
I want to hand over the baton of Evertonian to them, not the shattered rimmings of one of Bill's apocalyptic productions. If you don't mind.

Your top statement is totally wrong. I'm well aware of the situation we are in; we have no infrastructure to grow, bottom line. Thats why we are lumbered with bridging loans, selling assets and selling players, I'm not denying it.

What my initial argument was that to bridge the gap it will need serious, serious investment. Not a businessman with a plan, we have no means off field growth and a lot of that goes back to the stadium. Renegotiating commercial deals will only bring in so much, I want to compete and that takes a shed load of cash.

Kenwright bought a shell of a mansion with no money to renovate it and it is now dilapidated, my argument is yhat ghe previoys owners should also take some responsibility for allowing it to fall into a poor state of repair.

Im not like people on here who just want change because we dont spend in the summer, I want to be at the top of the pile again

Hi. I just came on here to say: Kenwright out.

And to the near 16% on here who have voted that they are happy with the way things are: you have no ambition.

I'm well aware that the loan was taken out against future sales, but the income is still recorded and without that on your balance sheet what happens when the auditors come in. Every bit of income supports the day to day running of the club.

And im not even getting into Kirkby
