I have, and i know that tv revenue out strips ticket sales, i never said it didn't. Whst i said was it does help, any income helps, stop trying to justify your reasons for not going. If you honestly believe that Everton Football Club can survive off tv money alone, no ticket sales, an empty stadium week in week out we have serious issues

And my direction is that we need a billionaire, you think otherwise but still haven't identified how this woukd happen considering the considerable investment required.

And I don't proclaim to be a super fan, just a fan bud. Someone who goes whether we are crap or not.

At least this thread has thrown up some crackers tonight

I,ve got news for you fella..YOU have no say in the next owner...None. You can sit their all night long and ask for a billionaire but Bill and co will check out on their terms not yours or mine.

So we go back to the point...let us be brave and see what is out there because this staganation is a slow painfull disease for everyone connected to the club.

Listen to what your fellow fans are telling you, find your bottle and accept change.

Roman is one of the richest men in the world yet isnt interested on building chelski a new shiny 60k seater stadium and he doesnt need to yet.

The idea of someone buying us and having to build a new stadium is nonsense, first off all we need investment in the squad in order for success and the fanbase that brings with it. Goodison may be knackered, but should someone give the manager £50 mil+ to get us CL football regulary we would still not only sell out most games but also the greater sponsership deals etc. that come with it.

End of the day this is Bills trainset and he wont let go. He ISNT looking for a buyer he is looking for investment 2 totally different things one involves him packing his bags the other involves him sat as chairman taking the praise.

He's looking for the right buyer that will make him mega rich. Does not give a rats about the club, hence Kirkby.

The thought occurred to me tonight that the club may be more sell-able without Moyes as a manager.

Let's assume for a moment that there have been conversations in the past between willing buyers and BK et all. Part of the "premium" demanded by the Board surely has been the fact that Moyes is manager, stability, out-performance, works within a budget etc etc. Apart from our history, it's about the only positive I can think of (putting a BK hat on).

If I was selling an under-performing company which had a great CEO I'd get a better price with the CEO intact than without. It might be that without Moyes, BK and other major shareholders would see the sense of accepting a more realistic price for their equity............

Mind you since when has normal business logic applied to football.

I'm the one who wants the richest of the rich so we can compete, I know I have no say, but I want the best. Is that wrong

I honestly dont think he is mate, he loves owning his boyhood club its his train set mate, he always says investment not buyer and thats because he wants some clown with cash on the hip to buy out woods, earle, granchester etc. spend gazillions on the club whilst Kenwright sits in the emperors chair claiming the praise from the clap clap clappers.

Roman is a billionaire, if we get one of them then we wont need a new stadium - easy.

If someone invests a £50m in playing staff every year, and we make the CL every year, yes we'll get better sponsorship deals but the stadium does not have the capacity, both matchday and corporate, to support the massive outlay on wages each year.

Its not a case of investing in the squad and its done, its all the oncosts that go with it. The better you get, the more wages you pay, the more wages you pay then the more income you need and considering we are noot a global name then we will be in no position to negotiate with the top boys. So something will need to be in place to support the business

No mate. I don,t want a fella bidding for the club who lives in a one bedroom flat so maybe the problem is how we have been conducting our search. our conditions of sale, our price evaluation and the people negotiating the sale of the club !

I should,nt have to ask for a third party service to act on behalf of the club who are both independent and transparent to both the club and shareholders (major and minor) but does that not tell you everything you need to know.

I have had my fill of someone telling me (the owner) who is right for the club when they have done nothing, spent nothing and created made up awards for services to the club !!!!!

We need to move beyond stagnation and this owner.

that whole fella in a 1 bed flat was a load of bollocks story why would the potential buyers housing situation come up in a discussion ffs. more Kenwright made up bull**** would love to get my hands on the git.

Surely the game's up for Kenwright if Moyes walks and we plunge back into a Walter Smith type era of abyss. Even the happy clappers won't be content with just about hanging onto Premier League status.

I firmly believe he won't sell up in the interests of Everton, he'll sell on his terms when someone makes him an irresistible offer. And that could be to any old charlatan. I don't care if the next owner doesn't have any money to spend as long as they come in with a plan to take us forward. Whilst Bill's here I feel devoid of hope. He's a proven liar who thinks he's untouchable amongst Evertonians, I'm convinced if he was a foreign he'd have been run out of town years ago.

some fans love Bill more than the club mate it wouldnt matter if we were relegated you would still here the "go support citeh if you want success" "bill tries his best" "who wants to buy us?" etc. etc.

I know what you mean, he knows how to work the fanbase to prolong his rule. He could promote sheedy and dunc for example knowing full well that the fans will buy in and give them time and more importantly give him time as well.

It,s terrible cynical but rulers will do anything to retain power. I hope the fans see through it if he trys to pull it off becuase sheedy does,nt need to be set up in that way.

I just cant believe our own fans are letting this happen, I have many evertonian mates, I like all you lads on here and I think we have the best fans in the world but I do have a hate for our fanbase aswell for this situation, its like a love hate feeling how has the board managed to sucker the majority in?
