with the season over now how does everyone feel on the past seasons loan arrangements..i think its ok to get overseas loans in providing there is a set price to pay if the player has done ok or alternatively can be returned.the barry loan was a no brainer and even if he decides to go he has given us a good return..the lukaku one though has me baffled..unsure if there was an arranged price agreed or not beforehand or didwe just accept him with no questions asked..and gratefull as well.
think also the bad liverpool moses loan was somewhat differant in the fact that they could have retained him at a set fee...still might ffs...
just feel it will be hard to accept luk playing for chelsea and ive even heard the r/s are interested now.which leaves us pretty much in the lurch having supported him even in some off games this season.
maybe he was a one off i suppose..but in reality havent spurs also got a load of untried or unsuccesfull players who were bought last season for big money..would they dare to offer us any..
more importantly would we take any..with no terms..and please return better and intact thank you attached.
i dont want us to be used like that again myself personally but then something else says he scored some memorable goals that gave us joy.
surely there are players out there.michu.remy.etc.who would sign for everton and who wouldnt cost a fortune.
we have the backbone of a great squad ..young ones as well..with just a few decent additions this season we can really have a say in this europa .[Poor language removed] until the knockouts i know.but can see us going all the way.

All Bill's fault the last 30 years of decline I suppose......

He's had big opportunities to reverse the decline and shat them....

2 storey decent Park End w corporate facilities at a time when there were huge subsidies on offer for ground redeveloment - no

NTL £30M (when that was huge money) for 9.9% share issue - no

Kings Dock deal of the century - no

Accepting offers from interested well resourced buyers - no and that's obviously never happened as Bill's not confirmed

I think i explained it in a previous post.

I'll be honest, I missed that one. There's +700 pages of posts here mate.
For me I don't see how anyone can say that the Chairman is not responsible for the people he hires, and I don't get how Manchester City 10 years ago is relevent to us finishing 5th this season.

But if you've explained before, I'll just go with it.

This season just gone we forfeited a payment from Nike for kit manufacture (villa receive circa 5m as they've been talked about) in return for 'marketing opportunities.

Does anyone know what these where and how it worked out for us.

I'm sure we'll see at least an additional 5m somewhere in the accounts where these marketing opportunities paid off.

I'm not going to dredge back over all of that yet again, as it's been done to death.

But by attempting to demonise Kenwright and putting all of our 'failure' at his door and his door alone, is truly delusional and incredibly simplistic.

We all appreciate the need for change, and preferably with someone coming in who can resource the club in a way that Bill and Co. can't / won't, but can we just pack the inane finger pointing and try and look forwards?

There's people still in their trenches from the Kirkby debate imo, it's time everyone came over the top and played some footie in no mans land.
If not I have visions of Steve and Snapper being lead out of the jungle like Hiroo Onoda :)

I've got visions of north koreans reading about kim jong bill's 19 under round of golf and truly believing he's the greatest.

Another attempt from you to disparage.
:):):) Nigel Disparage? Is he the leader of the Blue Union Party? The BU, which is really nice to everyone who disagrees with them? Nothing like the original Blue Union which did so much to support Merseyside dockers in the 1960s.
Seriously..if we spend as much on players as YOU would like this summer, and still finish fifth....will it still be Bills fault. I'm sorry, but particularly when the club is doing well, coming up with the usual tired negatives and prophesies of doom borders on making yourself a laughing stock.

You are ever one to throw the brown stuff, yet again, but show me, nay, show everyone where I have mentioned a transfer.
