This thread

My thoughts exactly.

What do people expect? The ownership of Everton is and will continue to be a polarized situation and one that could have be avoided if the current owners and crew had done the right thing years ago. This lot have no intention of leaving now they have seen the trough get filled up with more TV money and they have pushed their snouts deeper. Everything that could have been sold to keep the owner in power has been sold off to keep the custodians in charge. The club is littered with NDA,s from the tea lady to the management team in an attempt to keep the inner workings of the club from prying eyes to the point of withdrawing AGM,s

The club is rotten inside and standing by and hoping for the best after 15 years will not move us forward.

I think what makes it a bit tiresome, the debate that is, is the "antis" suggesting some sort of cover ups, criminality almost, and some sort of conspiricy of silence from the owners. Without any evidence. And that in some way, they are making Everton less attractive to a buyer on purpose.

And when evidence is asked for, insults quickly appear.

And equally, the "pros", or agnostics, can be similar in their reactions. As @Groucho has already said, please keep it civil. (Not been too bad tonight actually)

So, I am on the fence. I know little about the workings of the club. It is not covered that much in the Bristol media.

I would just ask everyone, on both sides, to be a bit more respectful of others opinion. Because lets face it, we all want the same thing.

I hope that is a balanced view, and will be taken in the manner in which it is intended.

Thank you.

You starting mate ?

It,s a shame that foxy does,nt post as much as he use too, there's, a lad who called it as he saw it based on his knowledge of the workings of the club.

One 5 min conversation with that lad set most straight.

Jesus people saying Bill blocked Learner, Learner is the worst owner in the history of the PL.

No debt when he bought from Ellis, now Villa are 150 mill+ in debt! He invested nothing, heaped debt on Villa, charged interest on it, sold every decent player, now leaves them just over the relegation sold!

You have to laugh at people who think he would have been great for Everton or he's been good for Villa!

Some of you seriously scare me!

Some people would have Kim jong un and Saddam Hussein in charge if it meant getting rid of Bill

Quite.

In an ideal world, we need a loaded Evertonian rather than a cold hearted business man.

Any billionaire blues out there? I can put £3.50 of my own money in if it helps.

I don't mind the board what does my head in is the fact money goes missing and they don't say nout
We sold 40 mil worth if players over last 12 months we should be re investing that at the very least before we even get to the massive 86mil we have been given
