Whilst we continue to do well on the pitch all of this is overlooked by 9 out of 10 fans.

The fans pay their money and just want to see the team doing well under the budget restraints we are under. I expect that many fans aren't even the slightest bit interested in the politics behind the club.

However, there are some undeniable facts about this board. One being that they blatantly lied over Kirkby, have spun on numerous occasions through the media about the finances and have screwed up completely on 2 stadium moves.

I was speaking with a Man City fan last week who is a mate of mine. He was under the impression that this board were creaming money off somewhere, as we are in the richest league in thew world, consistently finishing in the top 7 yet never have a pot to piss in. When you hear an outsider asking questions like that is does make you wonder what is actually going on.

They hid behind the wages thing for a couple of years, but the wage bill has been vastly reduced now due to the players that were on big money and now moved on. So, we must have some money to spend right? erm...another season gone by, another negative spend in the market.

Some things just don't add up.

When was the last time Kenwright actually said the club was for sale? all you ever hear is the word investment, i personally belive hes expecting someone to come along with a blank cheque book for him to use and with it take all the glory.

I don,t think Bill has really ever commited himself to selling the club in 15 years, he has walked away from buyers, threw around prices that no one will pay and used questionable go betweens to flush out buyers in bedsits.

Look at how Learner has gone about selling his club, full press coverage, named a global bank who will represent the club sale and has communicated that all down to shareholders and fans.

I don,t care which side of the fence you are on this issue, it,s crystla clear to me after 15 years.

I agree in that I think Bill has made mistakes with the people he has chosen to associate with and those that he has charged with trying to sell the club, he's not a great businessman, he's a media luvvie and an actor, there's no getting away from that. I don't think he's been advised brilliantly and that's caused many of the issues you've mentioned.

I honestly believe we're for sale, maybe Bills expectations need to be lowered a bit to enable a sale, but we're for sale. Would you begrudge Bill his ambassadorial role if he found us the right buyer? I sometimes think you're consumed by hatred for bill so much that it blinds your judgement.

I think he's earned the right to do so, having steered the club from near relegation to European football and consistent top 7 finishes. Don't you?

Usually after an AGM or when he is under preasure but never gives details other than he is talking to intrested people. 15 Years of that.

I doubt he would dare copy what Learner has done with the current sale process of his club.

Given the money raised from player sales and the new bumper tv deal, he has to provide money for Martinez to spend this summer

I know it's easy to have a pop at Bill, so yes you have to give some credit where credit it is due.

Let's be honest though, he has got very lucky in his last 2 managerial appointments. You could say he chose very wisely, a case could be made for that. But, let's be honest, both could have gone either way.

He doesn't select the players to be purchased, he doesn't pick the team. I think the minimum amount of what he does put in should be taken for what it is, but let's not make him out to be some sort of overlord genius.

I don,t really care about Bill and the board he and they are an obstacle to the club moving to the next level. To be honest mate when you use words like hatred it shows your complete lack of understanding about why fans raise questions and want change. Don,t use words that you cannot back up, lets stick to what we know....15 Years without a sale and counting in one of the worlds richest leagues.

No, Who in there right mind would give someone a blank cheque book?

Lets be real, if you invest in everton what do you get in return?

Well I think if you are not willing to give him credit for the stability the club has enjoyed and picking out two excellent managers and giving certainly one of them the time he needed to implement his style then you wont be giving him credit at all. I think its sad that people are perfectly happy to point out the negatives of Kenwright but shy away from paying him any compliment for when he's got it right. I'm not calling him a genius, I just think he deserves more than what he gets from ungrateful and shortsighted supporters.

OK, is dislike a better word? Either way you seem to not be willing to give any credit at all to the job he's done, surely you can at least admit he's moved us on from where we were? I think if you learn to appreciate that you'll give him more time and understanding.
