2018/19 The Everton Board Thread

On the recent discussion of Moyes it made me think about the time where he was doing a runner from the reporters with a smile ear to ear on his way to the Utd job.

Anyone remember when Kenwright was interviewed a short while after and he was nearly in tears saying he just wanted to go home to feed his cats.

Fella deserved a kick in the plums for that interview alone.

How do we keep getting lumbered with inept owners?

....ultimately, though, the Board is largely seen to manifest performance on the pitch. Win games and the board gets little criticism. I genuinely don’t know how well they are progressing the ground move, but a series of Managers have been financially backed.

If Silva/Brands get things right, some of the noise around the Board will go away.

Well the noise is currently getting deafening.

Couple of more bad results and the fans will be baying for blood.

I doubt that Eggs, the board is weak and the sooner Moshiri accepts that and acts to replace with better people, the better.

Right now, Marcel Brands is the only one with any genuine semblance of credibility, but he too needs to prove his mettle in the coming months.
As DoF, he's now got the onerous task of either straightening Silva out or finding a replacement who he will bear 100% responsibility for.

Kenwright all that is wrong with how our club has become. A second rate soap opera in envy of the movie stars over the park. But hey us mugs were born not created. At least Gerald Ratner walked away. Moshri needs to stand or fall by his own investments and share decisions with capable professionals.
