The Everton Board Thread

National media starting to turn against these worms.

I can’t believe alarm bells didn’t sound more loudly after the Moshiri rant about Lukaku’s mum being into witchcraft.

The guy is an absolute certifiable beaut.

Not seen anything to be fair. The Spurs v United game gets more coverage

League position though. And most of the quoted players there arrived in the Moyes era
O yeah back to back lower mid table wasnt great, but we were still decent, maybe we should of stuck with Roberto, but it easy to say that now, but the club that Koeman took over was fine, he then had a massive budget to spend and blew it without replacing Lukaku

It wasn't fine mate, read the articles about our finances from 2015. We were only going one way

Yeah but we had players to sell, it easily could of been managed, wouldnt of been pretty, but it was nothing like now..
To be honest mate, it very hard to pin point one moment or even one season, main thing is we fullly realize now we are done and start from fresh again to rise, kind of like Villa have

Yeah one part of me thinks we need to take our medicine like Villa did. Although they nearly went to the wall under Tony Xia (who was introduced to Villa by Bill's mate Chris Samuelson). We might not be so lucky as they were

Really its our time, its finally come, happened to Newcastle, West Ham, Villa and loads more, they came back, we just have to make sure we dont do what Sunderland and a few other did who failed to turn it around

Our time??

A proper ran club without a clueless owner and utter charlatan of a chairman who has overseen the slow destruction of this club, it would not happened

Not only Moshiri, BK too. BK has to sign off on all new signings. There were times when BK, FM and the DOF were all bringing in players independently. They are anything but puppets. They are all (Moshiri and the board) equally culpable.
Not for the NSNONow lot they aren't.

Financially under kenwright the club was always a season or two away from being in big trouble, selling Rooney etx, no actual cash signings for 4 windows. Martinez second season was absymal but with hindsight yeah we can look back and say we weren’t ever really be in trouble.

And I mean moshiri has accelerated the decline of the club. To buy a football club and spend the sort of money he has, but to not replace a board with a proven track record of failure was bizarre at the time and nothing more than criminal now. Look at our opponents last night. Got bought, cleaned house, employed competent individuals and spent their money well. It’s taken them 18 months. We are a shambles and the lot of them need chasing. They’ve killed this club, make no mistake about it.

I'm sure Kenwright staying on had to happen or a sale wouldn't have happened. That's down to the owner too ultimately.

Mainly because it's gonna be difficult to force out a feller who's sunk £700mill of his own money into the club.

It's reasoning with a man who has the codes to nuclear weapons. And you can't get the codes off him you can only persuade him to do the right things.
That doesn't cut any ice though. Ashley held all Newcastle's shares; Gillett and Hicks held all Liverpool's; Johnson held all ours.

There is a starnge silence over Moshiri and getting him out. All that is said about him is that he has to sack the board and hire a new one and look for new investors.

That's a weak protesting position.

Somebody got this right a few pages back - but we're all to blame for not chasing these charlatans out many years ago before things got this bad. We all had it too easy and were prepared to let things slide in the hope that better days were around the corner.

I have no doubt that this group of dishonourable, deceitful and loathsome individuals will be written into our history books as the single biggest failures in our long and proud history.
