Anybody else 40 or under shouldn't care about Sharp one bit. Yes appreciate he played for us when we were good, but nobody of that age has a personal experience of having seen him play or can appreciate how good he was from watching him first hand.

You shouldn't have the great affection for them in the same way an older person who actually watched them live and had their lives impacted at the time by them should have. I admire Tim Cahill, should I have a child in the future I would not expect them to care two hoots about Cahill's time at Everton. I can appreciate there have been some greats at Everton, but seeing as I haven't witnessed any of them in person or been able to watch any of their performances during my lifetime, all they are really are names on a piece of paper or words on a Wikipedia page.

Just to add to this, I specifically called our Sharp as he has actively gone to great lengths to tarnish his reputation with Everton, and people should not forget that. He is impacting his legacy now, which is a big reason nobody should care any more about what he did with us 35 years ago.

I can’t help laugh at Carlin, some of the statements in here are belters. If we were in the boozer sharing a pint, I’d either be laughing me head off at the inane nonsense being vomited out by him constantly, or in the process of getting arrested for knocking sevens shades of shabite out of him - I think the former as I’m a fairly tolerant, understanding and generally positive fella, but it’s a very fine line I’m treading.

To the points on the panda fondler - he has ruined any legacy he had at Everton - his actions and inactions have absolutely helped foster and empower the general malaise that engulfs Everton FC, just so he can keep riding the gravy train with his master, chairman Bill.

He’s like the head of the EFC-KGB to Bills Vlad Putin, and should be held in contempt, by any fan, of any vintage.
