The thing is with these lot, and everyone else frankly, is a blind man could see the potential value in Everton with how other clubs are being valued. After the stadium is built and if we're even only a mid table team, we're easily worth £1b in today's market. Look at Spurs, they're probably worth £1.5-£2b themselves quite easily and all they are is a decently run club in London, nothing special at all.
This crowd knows that they'll likely be able to come in for £600m, if they wanted, spend another £250m on transfers and all that over a period and still make an incredible profit come the end of it if they wanted, obviously on the basis of making us a success.
Frankly, Moshiri (really Usmanov) and that parasite Kenwright ran us as a toy, they didn't care about the wider implications, we desperately need to be run like a business, again like Spurs. They're not gonna come in here to asset strip or watch us decline further, it would make no financial sense. They'll probably bin off everyone but Thelwell and probably give him mostly free will on the footballing side of the club, which is exactly what should be happening, it'll put an end to that fathead Kenwright trying to involved himself in all the deals or someone like Moshiri who's clueless about football just throwing money at a problem.
Survive this season is the aim for now of course, next season we can hopefully at least spend a little bit of money, get the key positions where Dyche is confident of a 12th or so finish, then modestly build year after year. The club is desperate for stability, I personally think Dyche and Thelwell are ideal to give us that if they're allowed to get on with their jobs, which they haven't so far under the current regime. Dyche took Burnley to Europe and Thelwell was instrumental in Wolves becoming a stable PL club again, are they the best people in the world for the jobs, no of course not but in my eyes their real tasks start now under new ownership.
Next season on will be the first time they've not had to do their jobs with one hand behind their back, judge them on that going forward. Again maybe I'm just being an optimist but Everton with Moshiri, Kenwright and the rest not only excite me but fills me with hope that we can gain some consistency for the first time in a decade+, 777 will have my utmost backing from day one if they come in and clear this virus that currently festers in the management structure of this club.
