Yes but he taking no money.

What it does do is increase Everton Value from 1 Billion to 1.5 billion and once the stadium opens next year up to 3-5 Billion so if he was to sell then he make a huge profit off Everton all the while letting someone else sort us out
Yeah, he’s looking to protect his investment for sure. But if he holds less than 50% of shares, it’s not his decision to sell the club outright anymore. All he can do is sell his shareholding, hoping that before then the investors he brought in actually do a better job running the club so they boost it’s value.

They could, of course, given the piss poor foundation they’ll be working from, take us down into the Championship next year, so Moshiri’s stake will be worth a lot less than you’re predicting, even with the stadium.

We just don’t know what his specific end goal is, other than to pay back whatever he owes Usmanov before he sets the goons on him 😉

What would MSP ultimately get from this deal then? Just so a layman like me can get his head round it.

Sounds like a good deal for Everton, if true. It would be interesting to know the finer details. Are MSP providing a loan regarding the stadium AND purchasing new shares? How much is the deal bringing into Everton?

Well for him he doesn’t have to deal with the agro and can sell his shares whenever he wants, should MSP be successful he make a huge profit should they fail well he’s already 700 mil in the red

...for the privilege of being charged massive interest on loans made...loans the club will pay back.

Other than providing immediate stadium funding (not a small matter admittedly) there's not much to recommend this lot.

People talking Bell and Downing up as locals (and supporters in Downing's case) look a bit desperate.

So it looks like our best way forward is to hope that, when built, this stadium can quickly attract a stunning, oil rich takeover because MSP aren't going to be funding our way to success.

You can’t just take money out of a club that has non, we have very few assets on the pitch, they will have to make the club better if they hope to make money

We have players to sell.

We've been down that road before.

There seems to be a lot of good will toward this lot, but a lot of it is down to a revenge mission against the current board who we all want gone.

Ok, they go. But I dont see the basis here for trust. I certainly wont be trusting them. They look like what they are: a loan company who may choose to turn those loans into shares if, down the line, a massive takeover is in the offing from the middle east or wherever.

Let's go into this with eyes open. They are a step back and down from the Moshiri takeover when that first happened.
