The Everton Board Thread

I hope not, I'm looking at buying a couple so could do with the price coming down a bit first
I have one share which I bought about 10 years ago ( and not looking to sell ) . At the time there were 35,000 shares now there are 135,000 since the Moshiri share issue but the value has still increased over time. This is the case for very small numbers of shares.
The price for large numbers like in the thousands is different because with large blocks of shares comes power and they are more valuable . So if another huge share issue happens it may not affect small investors one way or the other.
Blankstone Sington suspended trading in small shareholdings quite recently but I believe it has resumed.

The funds are being used to finish the stadium.

New board will be commercial in nature. The Club has not been run well commercially. The investors are not sentimental. This is a business deal and the goal is to make a profit for investors.
The mad thing is that I can see a commercial board doing more to prevent us being relegated than the current "supporter" board. I sometimes get the feeling Kenwright sees relegation as acceptable as long as we don't give in to being run like the proper multi national business that we are

...for the privilege of being charged massive interest on loans made...loans the club will pay back.

Other than providing immediate stadium funding (not a small matter admittedly) there's not much to recommend this lot.

People talking Bell and Downing up as locals (and supporters in Downing's case) look a bit desperate.

So it looks like our best way forward is to hope that, when built, this stadium can quickly attract a stunning, oil rich takeover because MSP aren't going to be funding our way to success.
Has to be the way forward, and maybe has been the intent all along, just that the war in Ukraine derailed the plan.

I`m a shareholder and on the committee, the club no longer deal with Blankstone and any small shareholding deals are done by the individuals selling/buying.
If anyone is interested in purchasing a share when they, on occasion, become available, they would be better contacting the secretary of the SA and he`ll put you in touch with any potential sellers

Let's go into this with eyes open. They are a step back and down from the Moshiri takeover when that first happened.
Maybe in terms of what Moshiri could have offered.

But in the years that have unfolded since, we’ve found ourselves to be the worst run football club in the league and beyond bar none. The fella could probably write a book on how not to run a football club.

I’ll always be grateful for the stadium, but we need someone who can get this club back to operating to some form of sustainability before it’s too late. I’ve no idea if this crowd are the answer, but there doesn’t seem to be a queue of buyers/investors lining up for us in our current state and unfortunately, we are running out of time.

How do you go about buying shares and whats the rough cost involved?

Well for him he doesn’t have to deal with the agro and can sell his shares whenever he wants, should MSP be successful he make a huge profit should they fail well he’s already 700 mil in the red
I’m sure not dealing with the aggro is defo part of his thinking. He’s never really liked the fans.

Also worth adding that Moshiri is still retaining just short of 50%. IF, and it is a big IF, he wants to continue funding the squad, then you would hope he will be doing so with much more competent individuals, who arn't just yes men to keep a safe seat.

Well since we have never been relegated from the Premier League, or the top flight in most life times, the "supporter" board must of got it right. What you mean is you can see the new owner doing more to prevent relegation then the current owner

Continue funding the squad, nothing in Jan, 1.8 last summer? he stopped doing this ages ago, now he is just hanging around like a bad smell
