I have one share which I bought about 10 years ago ( and not looking to sell ) . At the time there were 35,000 shares now there are 135,000 since the Moshiri share issue but the value has still increased over time. This is the case for very small numbers of shares.I hope not, I'm looking at buying a couple so could do with the price coming down a bit first
The price for large numbers like in the thousands is different because with large blocks of shares comes power and they are more valuable . So if another huge share issue happens it may not affect small investors one way or the other.
Blankstone Sington suspended trading in small shareholdings quite recently but I believe it has resumed.
