The Everton Board Thread

Right, so our accountant owner has had no impact on the accounts at the club he owns and with the money he has put through it?
Why did he bother to make board appointments or hire DoFs then?

Ultimately the buck stops with Moshiri but to try and say there is no one else to blame is just laughable.

By that logic, the whole period where BK was the owner and in control he must be completely to blame for zero success, and no I don't consider staying in the league or coming 5th a success. Before Moshiri BK oversaw a dreadful period for our great club.

How many of them are still in the Premier League? What happened to Portsmouth? and Wigan? I cant even tell you off the top of my head what league Swansea and Charlton are in now, mate that list was the worst thing you could of posted because we dont want to change places with any of them.
I wouldnt even want to change places with Leicester
They’re tiny clubs apart from Sunderland and spent their whole existence being yo-yo Teams. Probably spent the majority of the time in the lower leagues.

In comparison we’re a monster club and why your Bezzie was running Everton most of these teams won something, while we were bringing out a dvd for 7th and hanging pictures in his office about relegation survival. Moshiri has failed apart from the ground. But Bill has turned us into a small fry laughing stock club, happy to survive. The rot started with him.

I just hope for my kids sake, we get it back one day

But thats point, people are saying Moshiri isnt to blame but everyone else is, someone earlier even said Moshiri gets a pass because of the stadium

Staying in the league and coming 5th was success compared to the standards we have now under Farhad, ok obviously it's not actual success but its a standard we can only dream of now.
As for the highlighted bit, Before Moshiri ??? The dreadful period is now, this is the worst period in living memory, right now, not pre Moshiri. Pre Moshiri was halcyon days compared to the last two seasons, if MSP can get the club back to pre Moshiri they have done well

One eye on the telly, one eye on the forum...Jesus wept.

You mean the money he has wasted on us - fighting relegation TWO seasons on the row.... _ he is a non dom owner an accountant who has not a clue about football nor can he appoint the right people since he took over ...... we have gone backwards on the field & a new ground that should have been secured at the Kings Dock by his mate BK years ago ...

He is also being investigated outside football for his financial dealings ..... apart from our club dealings .....

Yeah lets hope this investigation can bring up some serious stuff about him, hopfully he never sets foot in the UK again

Didn't say that. You constantly blame Moshiri for everything and attribute no culpability to the board. I don't doubt that Moshiri has meddled but the fact is that the board has not resigned as a result so they are much to blame, even more so as they sign off the accounts.

I think there are very few if any people saying Moshiri is blameless, why can't you accept that BK shares some blame?

Halcyon days? They were certainly better than the last two seasons but stop glorifying achieving absolutely nothing. Staying in the league and finishing top half is absolute bare minimum, not a golden age of Everton.

Even agent johnson won a trophy - BK took over in 1999 = won nothing ...End of .....

TBF ive said for months I want Kenwright to step aside, but Moshiri should have and could have removed him years ago, but there is nothing to say we would be in a better places right now

Im not gloryfying anything, you incorrectly said before Moshiri was a dreadful period for the club, it wasnt, it wasnt very good but dreadful is now

the 16 years of no trophy under BK is a dreadful period in my opinion. it has only got worse since Moshiri has come in.
