The Everton Board Thread

I assume that MSP are no fools. I am sure that the way that their investment is secured against the Stadium means that it is protected. At the same time they want to make money and can probably see that if the Stadium is completed and we are still in the Premier league that their minority holding will increase significantly in value. The higher we are in the league the better for their investment. The key issue therefore must be how they can ensure that we stay in the league. Boardroom changes should have medium to long term benefits. In the short term and setting aside regulatory compliance there must have been conversations about how they and Moshiri can improve the squad.

That bloke's a horrible bell (the person behind the twitter account). He's regulary on spaces spewing homophobic and xenophobic crap ("our no.9 DCL wears bras and knickers!") and he gives the rest of people who are protesting against the board a bad name. He knows nothing.

I think that’s one of the fellas who was against the protests for a considerable time. Seem to be wind up merchants if anything, show offs .

I know people who think he’s a arrogant get , it wouldn’t surprise me if most of it is just an act for attention and he goes too far with it.

Ahh Twitter spaces when every 4th word was Lad.. so full of crap talking as well

It seems there is a high chance that negotiations will drag out here. MSP are already committed with stadium funding so just have to see how far they are prepared to go.

There must be some budget for Dyche and Thelwell to work with even if it's small, and with sales proceeds on top.

The sooner it gets settled the better. There has to be an appreciation of the need for working capital in addition to stadium funding though.

Just have to hope whatever deal is reached allows the club to be put on a stable footing so that it can try to move forward.

Not particularly enamoured by MSP to date though if I'm honest. I understand the need for a good deal on their part but I'm not getting the any real impression that they're fully committed here. If that's the case, you'd have to question if they have what it takes to get the club back on its feet.

100 percent its all very tentative from them to say the least.

Can MSP inject working capital that can be used for transfers etc, or will profit and sustainability not allow for this?
