The Everton Board Thread

Brian Williams via Toffeeweb

Big news on the EFC takeover front. MSP's partners in the deal Andy Bell (AJ Bell) and George Downing. Full clear out of the Board. Andy is going to be CEO and George as Chairman. Going to be announced in the next couple of days. George is in Cannes with Moshiri today. Andy Bell is from Ormskirk.

iirc, Sharp already gone with a None Disclosure document in his back pocket...it'll all come out in dribs and draws down the track - it always does.
Heres an image of Brian Williams reading week old Internet posts and posting it as his own scoop.

Nice one.

This new lot won't be investing in funds for recruitment, if anything they wouldn't mind a few more issues at the club / stadium build to obtain more equity in the longterm.

Moshiri won’t be investing anything either, because he access to money is gone. Tim is right, if Moshiri is still here in two years time we will not be a Premier League club.

This - we are just taking loans from other people now so pretty much back to the Kenwright years. Not great news for the squad unfortunately, sell to buy.

Hopefully at least the fans get the board change that they want.

Perhaps Moshiri is now working 24/7 for a billionaire investor, the baton has been passed.

This Matt Slater ?

Could you kindly ask him for his employers retract & apologise for their vilification of the clubs fans , particularly in the disgusting reporting of the headlock non incident.

I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of that publication.
They totally discredited themselves.
Makes no sense this.
Bournemouth where sold for 120 mil and Everton are more then 4 times the size and value of Bournemouth

This is a depressing listen as it sounds like much of the extra income from the stadium is going on covering the interest costs to fund it unless interest rates start reducing again.

Unless we improve our performance on the pitch to generate a larger share of the ‘prize’ money we may need to sell a player each year to cover our trading losses which will inevitably lead to poorer performance & a continuing decline.

It appears we are in a right financial mess which the stadium completion won’t necessarily solve.

Looks like Bill found the only billionaire accountant who lacks financial competence.

Thanks for posting. This needs to be in the stadium thread also.

That bloke's a horrible bell (the person behind the twitter account). He's regulary on spaces spewing homophobic and xenophobic crap ("our no.9 DCL wears bras and knickers!") and he gives the rest of people who are protesting against the board a bad name. He knows nothing.
Literally just glanced at his twitter feed and it looks an absolute mess. Definitely steer clear.
