I've simply asked a fair question - what experience do Bell & Downing have of running a football club and the usual critters from the wum swamp have decended to try point score when they're the ones who've done nothing but cry about local evertonian job for the boys appointments by the club these last two decades ! lol

Well there is two things wrong with this - for a start, neither Kenwright or DBB had any experience running a football club before they got their jobs, so to critique Bell and Downing for not having any is daft.

Secondly you can't argue this is "jobs for the boys" and also argue they have no experience.

Well you've jumped to the conclusion that they've got the job for a start.

Assuming they take it on they'll have no more or less experience than any of the previous board. It's fair to suggest they might only be considered for being blues but you don't have a clue if that's the only reason and neither do we.

If they're on the board for a financial governance capacity what level of previous football experience is required? Accounts and balance sheets will be what they're looking at. I'd expect they're probably shareholders themselves.

Jobs for the boys also referred to the control Kenwright exerted over all of the members he brought in. That's not a factor with these two.

I must have missed the reports that they're taking over scouting and transfers.

I'm sure they wouldn't be the only new board members if they did come so football experience will likely be coming from other members.

I disagree, the main reason being how positive they are of Kenwright - experienced, vital to lead transition etc.

Whoah there mate, don't be throwing around words. My hypocrisy is frequently histrionic and rarely is any proper cognition involved. Please don't paint people broadly as displaying "cognitive hypocrisy." Maybe call out a few and be direct if you have specific beef.
