I haven't any - thats MSPs job.

I do expect more than 2 local blues with no football experience when we're crying out for an experienced hand particularly in the role of chairman.
There both have years of experience in running billion pound businesses and running them well, unlike the idiots we have now.

Everton is now a business 1st and a football club 2nd sorry but that’s the way it is

I’d be surprised if MSP would construct a new Board entirely of inexperienced football people. I would expect there will be experience on there….Peter Ridsdale anyone?
I'm sure this must be a joke, it's got to be hasn't it? Peter ridsdale that's like just kenwright in a different suit.

But weren't fan protests essentially aimed at removing the board for this very reason ? That they had no experience in running a PL club and we were lagging behind the rest ?

For me its an opportunity for the club to cast its net wide and bring in real quality but we seem to automatically go down the route of "local blues".
Didn't you like having Rafael as our manager cos he knew the city and was a local.

Sack the board!

Gents, whilst I am just as happy as everyone that things are happening please don’t think this is us out of the shoite.

We have been mismanaged for so long that if investment comes I don’t think anything will go towards the squad and will be stadium focused with maybe a little lift in Jan to steady the ship if needed.

We are in choppy waters and not many at Everton can swim!

The board is getting a massive overhaul, hopefully they have already had sight of the books and the squad and are ready to start making changes in the right direction but……..

I do hope I’m wrong though.👍

I’m not saying he would come (and I know it’s Brighton) but I would be looking at that Paul Barber you know. What he has done there with Tony Bloom is incredible and I listened to his interview with Jake Humphreys the other day. He struck me as a really intelligent, effective fella. CEOs moving is rare (the last time I recall was Peter Kenyon from Man Utd to Chelsea) but you never know
Brighton is all down to the owner and the business he runs. They use statistics way beyond what the bookies use.
Tony Bloom and the Brentford owner were friends that ran the business together before they fell out and the Brentford owner set up his own version of the business and uses the same stuff at Brentford.
Since then Tony Bloom changed his business to the point that different parts of the business have zero connection to one another or even know anyone else from it so it’s impossible for anyone to copy

Which is great if the board has a Dein type figure who has the footballing side nailed down.

Surely that should be our no1 priority when you consider if we had that figure in the boardroom from day 1 of Moshiri's ownership we would probably be a top 6 side right now !

I'm not knocking these lads from a business stand point they have done well for themselves - but running a football club is different to running a business hence why numerous successful billionaires in the business world have bought footie clubs and failed.

I just don't understand the thought process behind this proposed news - get a Dein type figure in and build around him.
