Wouldn't have any ex player near the place unless they had done something in football to warrant a call, Weir , Carsley maybe?
Absolutley right.

I'd be getting somone like Shumacher in here learning the ropes under another manager too. That feller has worked a couple of miracles already in football.

The fella was still putting out official club statements on the club website clapping back at the fans in April. Whether you thought he’d already gone or not, clearly he didn’t. The man is an absolute ego maniac. He will have believed until the very last minute that he could’ve hung on and turned it around. The resignations this week were the final nail for him.

Meanderings of a confused powerless old man.

….no surprise to me that Neil Dewsnip is DOF at Plymouth.

Proper football man, an enlightened coach who was at Everton before going to manage in the England youth set-up. He might even have taught Schumacher at Cardinal Heenan when he was one of 3 in the same year at that school who played for England Schoolboys (Moogan and Walsh). He certainly managed Sean Doherty and James McCleveley (Scottish International.

Neil Dewsnip knows a footballer.

Keeping Bill Kenwright at the club was the best decision Moshiri ever made since he took over...... for Moshiri himself.

Moshiri owns 94% of the club and is in absolute complete control and yet he has as a lightning rod to absorb the blame for the mess that Moshiri/Usmanov have created.

Bill Kenwright leaving does not interest me nearly as much as where the power lies going forward and who will be making the decisions about how Everton FC is run.
