Apart from the owner saying, on the official club channel, that all transfers need to pass through both Bill and himself

Bury your head in the sand some more David
You believe this owner?

Ha Ha Ha Ha.

Kenwright going or staying wont make a blind bit of difference to Everton.

He should be formally ditched, yes. But only as an example to anyone else who crosses the fanbase.

Yes Dave, Bill kenwright would happily sit back and let go of his favourite toy, one that he’s held onto for 20+ years, because a non-existent owner now has majority control.

Ok mate, time for your afternoon nap

Is it happening today? I'd settle for a deal with MSP being announced and/or some new Board members being named but everyone is hanging on tenter hooks(whatever that means) for the Kill Bill announcement. That may come Friday, this is Everton...

answering my own question....
“On tenterhooks” means “waiting nervously for something to happen.” The word tenter means “a frame used for drying and stretching cloth” and is related to tent, so being “on tenterhooks” compares the tenseness of the stretched fabric to the tension of nervous waiting.

….no surprise to me that Neil Dewsnip is DOF at Plymouth.

Proper football man, an enlightened coach who was at Everton before going to manage in the England youth set-up. He might even have taught Schumacher at Cardinal Heenan when he was one of 3 in the same year at that school who played for England Schoolboys (Moogan and Walsh). He certainly managed Sean Doherty and James McCleveley (Scottish International.

Neil Dewsnip knows a footballer.
Crikey. That name is a blast from the past. A few decades ago I used to help out coaching a kids team and am sure it was Neil that used to sort things with Everton like getting some academy lads (and occasional first team player) to come to the kids presentation evening as a bit of motivation, or getting hold of signed gear for the club to raffle. Must have been a friend of a friend. I had no real idea who he was at the time.

Glad you mentioned that. Got me all wistful 🥹

Always good to get the Etymology of words, gives context.

Gonna need some extra tight an stretched cloth to "Shroud Bill" but nothing wrong with attaching him to a few hooks first!!

….he was a very innovative coach. I deliberately went to see one of his young teams & when winning comfortably, he thought nothing of shifting a defender into attack and a striker into defence so they had perspective on other positions.

Where’s this announcement we were promised in 48hrs?
Hasn't been 48 hours yet mate. Coming close to it though, think it was about 5pm but i would imagine when they said 48 hours they meant 2 days so it could be anytime tonight if indeed there are any announcements incoming today.

It will be yet another unkept promise.
